@azuredraconis the opening credits were definitely filmed at Magic Mountain. I am from Los Angeles, and I go to Magic Mountain all the time, so I recognized every section of the park they showed, especially the fountain, Revolution (white roller coaster), the carnival games section, and the elevator ride with the American flag. The roller coaster they are on is Colossus and Magic Mountain has the bridge and the water ride, too.

I know ABC is bringing back TGIF, but it will never be the same. You can't replicate the 80's and 90's. Sadly, we can't go back. The 80's and 90's were the peak of a wonderful time. A time that is forever dead.

I don't think there will ever be a 2nd time around to those days. They truly broke the mold after they ended. Never again will there be days quite as memorable and fun as the '80's/'90's. So Corny!!!!!! I know that ride they get wet standing on the bridge... you wait 2 hours to sit on that ride watching the people on the bridge get soaked about 98 times before its your turn. Corny alert! Worse then a Mentos commercial but they mean to be corny, they do it with style because its designed that way, this show was designed to be good by corny people! T.G.I.F. on ABC, nice. I would watch those shows every Friday evening. Then on Saturday morning Spider-Man, X-Men, Eek! Stravaganza, Life with Louie and the Tick cartoons would come on. The 90s were awesome and if you don't agree then you're a BITCH!
This is a VERY memorable theme song! That's one of the main things I miss about 1990s and 1980s shows. The theme songs were so memorable and it got you hyped for the show!

In the begining, who is that kid pulling Karol because its not brendan because brendan is in the blue next to him and it's not mark because this kid has brown hair and mark is nowhere to be found and he appears again when the are grabbing the cotton candy from Karol's sister and mark is again not shown. If you run searches on google or even television websites like deadline there's articles about the president of ABC wanting to do it next fall. @unlimiteddj He was supposed to play Mark, but the producers fired the poor kid after the pilot episode when they decided they wanted a blond to play Suzanne Somers's son. They had to reshoot the pilot, and then they didn't get around to changing the opening sequence until season 2. Good job, guys!

The only reason i didn't like the show, was because of Brandon Call, that kid annoyed the fuck outta me, not his character, but the actor him self. Patrick Duffy and Suzanne Somers on the other hand, were awesome, you could really feel the chemistry in thier relationship, great performance by all, but Brandon Call, gtfo nerf!

I first started watching this around maybe 2004, when it was on weekdays at 2pm for an hour on ABC Family (for the longest time), only took me about 3-4 years to steadily slow down on watching it, it was a really fun one to watch --- odd that during that time, I had a dream at it moved to just 11:30am weekdays, and later, that ended up happening before it got 2pm back, then 9am came, then....yea

Thank goodness I was too old for this shit in the 90s (I was a teenager then.) Although it does have that charming, innocent quality to it that nostalgia can be good for. I have my old family-friendly 80s shows that I loved...
I remember watching "Family Matters," "Who's the Boss," "Full House," "Kids Incorporated," and "The Mickey Mouse Club" all as a kid, but I don't really remember watching this one as much. Oh, and how can you forget "Saved By the Bell?!" Can't leave that one out! haha TVin the early 90's was so much better than the shit that is out today. I even remember watching "Inspector Gadget" and "The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!" God, how I miss the 90's and wish to relive that era again!

this at six flags great america because:
1.) the roller coaster is american eagle. one red, one blue. and the layout of it bc i've been on it.
2.) great america used to have the bridge with the water ride. i remember standing on it.
3.) this show takes place in wisconsin, so great america is the closet theme park to it.
wiki says that it isn't great america, it says six flags magic mountain, but all the signs to point to it. i don't think magic mtn had american eagle.

In the begining, who is that kid pulling Karol because its not brendan because brendan is in the blue next to him and it's not mark because this kid has brown hair and mark is nowhere to be found and he appears again when the are grabbing the cotton candy from Karol's sister and mark is again not shown. Do you think he played Mark in an Unaired Pilot or something?

I wish they would bring back TGIF! We used to look forward to ending the school week with TGIF. Don't know why they stopped it bc it was awesome. Now kids play video games all day and parents are afraid of their own kids, smh. Missing the 80s-90's deeply.

@TheScorpio4lyfe Yeah. ABC really wants to bring it back with Tim Allen's show anchoring it. If you run searches on google or even television websites like deadline there's articles about the president of ABC wanting to do it next fall. The old nick shows are running in a two hour block "The 90's are All That" on Teen Nick. It's pretty def

@unlimiteddj He was supposed to play Mark, but the producers fired the poor kid after the pilot episode when they decided they wanted a blond to play Suzanne Somers's son. They had to reshoot the pilot, and then they didn't get around to changing the opening sequence until season 2. Good job, guys!

The only reason i didn't like the show, was because of Brandon Call, that kid annoyed the fuck outta me, not his character, but the actor him self. Patrick Duffy and Suzanne Somers on the other hand, were awesome, you could really feel the chemistry in thier relationship, great performance by all, but Brandon Call, gtfo nerf!

I hope that we'll see more of the TGIF sitcoms on DVD, soon. Now that the kids who grew up on these shows are in their 20s/30s, they're probably dying to revisit their youth. I mean jeez, the comments here alone prove that these shows are dearly missed!

I first started watching this around maybe 2004, when it was on weekdays at 2pm for an hour on ABC Family (for the longest time), only took me about 3-4 years to steadily slow down on watching it, it was a really fun one to watch --- odd that during that time, I had a dream at it moved to just 11:30am weekdays, and later, that ended up happening before it got 2pm back, then 9am came, then....yea

I remember watching "Family Matters," "Who's the Boss," "Full House," "Kids Incorporated," and "The Mickey Mouse Club" all as a kid, but I don't really remember watching this one as much. Oh, and how can you forget "Saved By the Bell?!" Can't leave that one out! haha TVin the early 90's was so much better than the shit that is out today. I even remember watching "Inspector Gadget" and "The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!" God, how I miss the 90's and wish to relive that era again!
