Je suis de Noyelles-sous-Lens (Nord de la France), j'ai obtenu le Premier Prix à la clarinette à ce concours de Szczecinek en 1984 avec la pièce Erwin de Meister.
i'm sorry but where is your feeling for the music? just like passionclarinet, it's much too fast. look at youtube to daniel mendoza, that's the right tempo. but your sound is good.
Perhaps this can be improved by using more air especially towards the B and higher notes, also there were some imbalances playing with accompaniment. More air will help intonation with soft, low notes that usually go slightly sharp when playing clarinet. The E - F# ending in the 2nd movt. could have been sustained longer before moving onto the fast, contrasting 3rd movt.
Thank you for posting this video, it was an excellent performance and i enjoyed it! :)
this is a very good performance. I also played this piece for exams and auditions, congratulations with the fast runs especially from top A in the 3rd movt. and an interesting interpretation with the vib. on the high notes. The second movt. is difficult to play smoothly through octaves with matching volume.
Ich bin aus Nordfrankreich (Noyelles-sous-Lens) ich habe im Jahre 1984 den erten Preis mit diesem Wettbewerb errungen.

Hey there
I'm playing this piece also now. Maybe you should watch on your sound in 3rd mov. And those a2 at start should be longer imo.
2nd mov was quite ok, even thought you should be more freely at some moments.

I love this piece. I am working on it right now in my clarinet studio. You have to have a lot of control to get those notes to be in tune.
