The economical status of CIS countries only shows how fail is the actual system. Only have to see UN 1990 HDI report to see in the past those countries had better HDI and GDP. The transition represented loss of income, loss of social services and life quality. The table is clear when anyone put the 1990 report side by side with 2009. (In 2010 the method changed).

@ChongLi99 Yeah, went downhill. But I wouldn't offer in exchange freedom of speech for a stable economy and lies and propaganda of how great communism is. Democracy will prevail, everybody has to contribute though.

Freedom of speech, democracy... empty concepts. For example, what freedom of speech have social movements if mass media controled by oligarchies only shows what they want. Mass media manipulates and distorts the information according to their desire.

@MisterAAnderson Democracy? do you know what is democracy? stop an think. All of that you thought isnt democracy. Democracy is people's participation in politics. In most regimes of west and that new eastern europeans people cant change nothing. Politicians have last word in everything an people cant even remove them from their positions. They receives money from big companies and governs for them even if public opinion tells the opposite of their decisions. Greece is an example
