@VAST56 I'd recommend getting the Nintendo DS version, the GBA version is only in Japanese which is only good if you can speak it. Also, the Nintendo DS version is a more improved version of the game.

@nano69ify Yep, that's exactly what happened! I noticed the years were before the DS was released and that the music sound very similar to what you'd find on the Gameboy Advance. Then I realised that it must have been a port!
@kdhvdsfkj I doubt it, I'm guessing the reason they kept the original GBA look for the DS version is because of how stylised the game looks and how it still looks all right on the DS. The fifth chapter actually takes use of the DS's hardware capabilities.
well appollo justice looks a bit better .. the court background and some sprites.
for example,place a klavier sprite in the old courtroom with phoenix wright and wocky and phoenix will look outdated. but it's not that noticable on your ds....
@Dylstew2 I have noticed that Apollo Justice looks a lot better than the Phoenix Wright games. I believe that Apollo Justice was the first DS exclusive title in the Ace Attorney series. Personally, I think the DS's graphics looked considerably good for a cheap system released back in 2004.

OMG... graphics suck... I would NOT like this on the Gameboy... but I can see why it's popular, because it's much more compact than the DS and gives that "Courtroom only in your hands feel," making it more exciting.
That's why it was moved to the more popular, DS instead of the dead gba. But in japan they released all 3 phoenix wright games on gba because the gba is very popular in japan.
I had posted that comment over a year ago, thinking that they were release after the release of the Nintendo DS but now i know the first 3 were released before. Thanks for the comment though.

Now apollo justice and miles edgeworth investigations have DS graphics

I thought it was because the DS wasn't created during that time, from what I know all 3 games came out before the DS existed.
