Of Course it's fake. The writers admit to it in a letter to their fans posted in the first issue. Every guy in that video is an ex-marine. It's still a ridiculously awesome marketing ploy and a great way to start a new comic. Go Millarworld!

who wouldn't be. look at the comic and then look at the movie. even the themes of breaking out of the chains in life was turned into a Fight Club rip-off, rather than the darker way it was presented in the comic. and of course, you know getting rid of a league of supervillians who kill and rape anyone they want and replacing it with a somewhat nonsensical revenge story might be a problem too.

I haven't seen the film,but it was advertised like it was some laugh-out-loud comedy movie (like "Four Brothers")

then I looked at the comic,and it was way different by comparison. it was awesome. also there was so much blood,you'd think the characters drunk Hawaiian punch every 5 minutes

Just so long as Mark Millar brushes up on his math. He once claimed that 70% of the Wanted graphic Novel made it into the film adaptation.......more like 7%.

Much more than 7%, but yes much less that 70...

The whole first chapter went into the film so that's an instant 17%, and then you add the themes and dialogue and I'd say it's about 30%
