  • One of my favorite movies this year is Kick-Ass I started reading the comics and they are so good its like the movie but more hard core!

  • wtf did i just watch =/

  • @DOTKIX yeah it is you can google it.

  • this is actually real this video was in 2007 the comic came out in 2008 because it was inspired by the story and in 2010 the movie Kick-ass was released all because of this brave person :]

  • @GosuKidx so this did happen ???

  • @GosuKidx bullshit

  • @GoinDownToJunkieTown google first before you disagreeing on something.

  • @SokaA69 wise up, its the fakest thing ive seen i a long time, its a viral ad campaign brought before the movie. not everything u read on google is the full truth, dont be duped so easily.

  • viral marketing is fake & gay

  • Someone really needs to do this for real.

  • BEST MOVIE

  • Just like in the book. Except the attackers weren't puerto-rican. :P

  • .... Kick.. Ass hahaha

  • Seriousely, I hope they put this in the movie. Like pretend it's hidden footage caught by one of the bystanders.

  • @Soundnous

i think they're remaking this video, just look at the trailer itself...it shows it!(the part where they go "videos of a superhero kick-ass has been spread all around youtube" or something)

  • Ahh, I think you're right. Personally, I think it would have been more badass if they had put that as the viral video.

  • naaaaa lame

  • FAAAAAAKE

  • o rly?

  • Duh, retard

  • Of Course it's fake. The writers admit to it in a letter to their fans posted in the first issue. Every guy in that video is an ex-marine. It's still a ridiculously awesome marketing ploy and a great way to start a new comic. Go Millarworld!

  • I'm reading Kick-Ass and, my gosh, it's really, i mean, REALLY GOOD!

    can't wait for the movie

  • do you know if i can get it from the uk?

  • yeah the complete graphic novel is comin out in February i think. U will probably be able to get it from most book stores and if that fails go to forbidden planet the wil defenetly have it

  • Kick Ass kicks asses!

  • @Seishirou kick ass the movie is TOTOALLLLLLY EXhiLArTING LOVE IT

  • @Seishirou Wait no longer!

  • LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE

  • Leave Him alone Leave Him alone

i'm not leavin him i'm not leavin him

    ROFLOLMAO

  • if the movie isnt rated r, there wasnt enough blood

  • The lead actor in the movie has confirmed that it's being rated R.

  • This viral for the comic.

Check out the movie trailer, its got someones head exploding, is that R RATED enough for you.

  • LMAO He sounds like an old black guy

  • hopefully the movie isn't as bad as this shit.

  • This was an advertisement for the comics, not the movie.

  • Kick-Ass

  • lmao, LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!

  • wasn't done very well. Cheesy

  • CHEESE

  • so far the comics are great i just hope the movie is to. also it needs to be hardcore bloody like the comics

  • dude sounds like peewee herman

  • lol LEAVE HIM ALONE, ya i agree. what about that call the fucking cops in a low girly man voice. aw good stuff

  • I know. But it was still badass!

LEAVE HIM ALONE! I'M NOT LEAVIN HIM! :)

I hope the film will be just as great as the comics. :)

  • LOL! Duly noted. I'll now just doubt every adaptation he has a hand in. Don't get me wrong. He's one of the best out there when it comes to writing. I just wish he had more faith in his works and his fans.

  • Wow! I'd still say 30% is really generous. I wouldn't mind it so much if he'd stop telling everyone its a direct translation. He's still in denial.

  • who wouldn't be. look at the comic and then look at the movie. even the themes of breaking out of the chains in life was turned into a Fight Club rip-off, rather than the darker way it was presented in the comic. and of course, you know getting rid of a league of supervillians who kill and rape anyone they want and replacing it with a somewhat nonsensical revenge story might be a problem too.

  • @captainwinters456

I haven't seen the film, but it was advertised like it was some laugh-out-loud comedy movie (like "Four Brothers")

then I looked at the comic, and it was way different by comparison. it was awesome. also there was so much blood, you'd think the characters drunk Hawaiian punch every 5 minutes

  • @TheSlickAndroid kick ass is hilarious

  • @Gergoth

I have to admit the comic is really funny.

  • Just so long as Mark Millar brushes up on his math. He once claimed that 70% of the Wanted graphic Novel made it into the film adaptation.......more like 7%.

  • Much more than 7%, but yes much less that 70...

The whole first chapter went into the film so that's an instant 17%, and then you add the themes and dialogue and I'd say it's about 30%

  • God I can't wait for the movie, even if it;ll basically sell the series out to a bunch of stupid summer movie actioners
