i heard that Jeremy left the show not due to his father but a casting change.. the producers felt he was not right for the part. i heard that in a interview Shirley did when she was asked about the change

god, sorry, but at around 7:00 or so, gorgeous, immaculate, groupie-infested david looks like a zombie from out of "return of the living dead." old age, i guess...really. stars are just stars...and they all eventually fall.

@d4seasons my goodness. my timing is off. i said 7:00, somehow. more like around 3:20 or so. don't get me wrong, god love them all. they're just people making a living and making art out it, in part. really enjoyed watching this show when i was a kid. i learned things out of it, too. i'm 50 now. ha ha, i plan to be santa at the mall, in time. my snow white long hair and beard will be real, though. anyway, thanks for bringing me back here, and take er easy.
