  • win!

  • verry nice!!!!!

  • The funny thing is Colm Meaney went on to do Stargate: Atlantis as the leader of the Geni :D

  • not bad, but a bit too militaristic for Federation standards, maybe in the mirror Universe:)

  • I'm actually really surprised how well that worked.

  • I always thought Stargate and Star Trek would go good together.

  • cool better then original Oo

  • SG-1 OWNS DS9!!!

  • @gravygwundud

Yeah right! SG-1 couldn't even stick to the original story. RA'S RACE WAS DEAD! A much better sequel to Stargate was written in a series by Bill McCay before SG-1 was even around. THAT one stuck to the original story and made much more sense

  • @moverseve Well, the changes that the writers did were on purpose and improved the story! I accept SG-1 as canon. And also the acting is better than DS9's and it's LOADS less boring! DS9 was just Eastenders in space!

  • Pretty damn awesome!

  • You've got a lot of free time, but that being said, I think it's great.

  • @archonmichael So do we...which is why we're on Youtube watching Timtonruben359's video....;P

  • This was good. DS9's theme was alway awful. This was refreshing. It added life to the opening.

  • So when the dominion ship in formation blows up, do they not realize the fireball should stay in formation or do they imply the ships are accelerating?

  • With this kind of video quality we all could have believed that ds9 was made in the same era as the original Galactica, cheers mate. (NOT)

  • All of DS9's CGI and effects and whatnot look really bad in this video. :/

  • very cool

  • That was awesome!!

  • Not as good as BSG, but still a good version

  • excellent, and loads of fun!

  • that was cool

  • That was amazing.

  • this is very well done, I love it

  • It's funny how the music hits the most dramatic point at the end just when Quark is shown :D

  • this is obviously set before season 7, when nicole deboer joined the cast after being joined with the dax symbiont following jadzia's death at the hands of Dukat, with pah wraith powers.

  • dude, seriously? cmon, get outside more often i beg of you

  • you forgot Nicole DeBoer as Ezri Dax

  • That's because he had Terry Farrell as Jadzia Dax. I'm guessing this was for season 6 or so.

  • well done, great job...

  • two great shows

  • well done!

  • I looked at the description and said oh... that sounds dumb, I was incorrect, this is actually really a good fit, good job! :)

  • My only though is that that you denied yourself the opportunity to use some really good Wormhole shots (which would have brought it a little more in line with SG-1 then lots and lots of space battles). Really nice work though.

  • Liked it better than the original. More power less weeping.

  • sweet job, works well together

  • I like this one also. DS9 Rules right along side Voyager and Atlantis. :)

  • atlantis....? not so much

  • I've always loved Atlantis. It was a good spin from the original SG-1. I'm a bit iffy on the new one comeing out...SGU right.

  • Yeah Im big on SG1 and didnt like how SG1 had to down play their characters for Atlantis to do well, Atlantis is cool too dont get me wrong though :)

    Im with you in SGU

  • I really got into Atlantis before I ever touched SG1. A friend of mine was all "watch SG1!" and I did, just never could fully get into it like I could with SGA. Atlantis I think had character development to the max, which is something I've always enjoyed...and it did have McKay as well. There's always that ;)

  • I know what you mean.

My mom used to watch SG1 and I used to sit and watch it with her when I was much younger. But then after about a year SGA was on, I sat with my mom and watched it with her. It was amazing and thats how I got my love for SGA. I love all the characters, especially McKay. lol

I still love SG1 but like you said SGA's character development was to the max which is something everyone enjoys in a seires. :))

  • great

    love both shows

  • I am a hard man to impress and boy you did impress me on this one ;) Excellent job! Five out of five.

  • Ohhhhh...me like.

  • Shoulda finished it with a nice shot of going through the wormhole, but otherwise that was excellent.

  • I was thinking the exact samething LOL

  • All the clips came from the same episode, Season 5 Finale, the title escapes me at the moment.

  • Call to Arms

  • Quite awesome! I've always thought DS9's music was the best in Star Trek, but this just makes it better! The Deep Space Nine series got a huge boost from the Dominion War, too.

  • great video

id forgotten how good DS9 was. i think ill get the dvds

  • Just awesome!

  • Very nice. Great editing.

  • Just fantastic! Puts my fan vids to shame! I adore this!

  • Very nice! Good editing.

  • Awsome video (with two problems - the title and the missing wormhole), congrats! But I prefer the original, fits DS9 and overall Star Trek better. :)

  • Awsome:D

  • Totally wicked my friend. Awesome clip selection, and edit work.

  • FANTASTIC job. perfect clip choices

  • dude... you forgot the most genius ploy,

    wormhole = stargate...

totally forgot a scene of the wormhole...

    but otherwise, pretty fine.

  • This song seems like it fits ANY sci fi series. good movie, and definitely more engaging then the original opening.

  • lmao!! thats great!!

  • Imagine a Jem'Hadar with a symbioate (sp, srry). Thats just scary.....

  • Imagine a Borg, Wraith, or Species 8453 with a symboiant - Even more frightening ...

  • wraith? is that from stargate atlantis? or is that in ds9? i never watched DS9.... i think voyager was better....

  • LOLZZZ.......

  • Hmmmm interesting idea.Would it still need the white if it's got the symbioate?

  • very good

  • Brilliant Clip I Lke How You Did It, What Program Did You Use?

  • That would be Windows Movie Maker ;)

If you look at the opening titles.

  • You missed the opening of the wormhole!!

  • well done

  • You know, at first I thought "lame," but this was actually pretty cool. :tu:

  • the only thing that was missing was "STÅR TREK: DEEP SPÅCE NINE"

  • Jup, that could have been a very good intro, at least for Dominion War episodes. Like the alternative opening of the Mirror Universe episodes in Enterprise.

  • good... very imaginative

  • excellent vid

  • Wow. Too bad they never made any DS9 movies.

  • I was thinking exactly the same thing. If Star Trek had had exciting action packed special effect filled beginnings like this, they would never have had a ratings problem.

Pardon the French, but Bloody Good Work!

  • hey! wow! Colm Meaney is a Genii on Stargate Atlantis! lol!haha

  • That could have worked as the intro during the Dominion War years.

  • That was good. Better than the regular intro. Made DS 9 look exciting.

  • WOW that really caught me by surprise... Well Done!!!

  • HA HA HA! That was COOL! 5/5!

  • Very very good

  • Lol the's great.

  • It actualy works.

  • OWNAGE !!!

    Yup... definitely rocked.

  • I always found the intro fro DS9 well... to slow and not as good as the Others like Voyager or TNG or even Enterprsise... till now that is.

  • Wow, congratulations! :)

  • Lol. That was great.

  • Nice video. But its realy weird to see the ds9 scenes and hear the music of sg1!

  • Very good job, the scenes fit with the music very nicely.

  • Excellent !! Awesome !! The key to making any theme work is getting the images to work with the music, and thats PRECISELY what you did ... BRAVO, plx encore another video lol

  • *Claps* 5 stars

  • nicely done

  • very cool!

  • sweet dude

  • Star Trek...Sg1? looks pretty good! Nice video!!

    You made this?
