My SAC rig is a 4U rack mount chassis with some inexpensive compnents inside including an E5200 Pentium dual core cpu. I have 4 ADA8000 preamps in the rack. Stop by the SAC forum and you can see what everyone else as running as well. The big expense is typically the ADAT interface. Don't be shy just make a post over there and we'll help you out.
