this place just like every other aquarium should be shut down, these are animals that swim hundreds of thousands of miles across the sea. Whats the one common factor here? there all looking for a way out.....this is very sad. don't look at this and be amazed. look at this and get pissed off.
a lot of data mentioned in this video are simply not true... I've been there many times, no way they have 34,800 species or 400 sharks!! there where 12 bull-sharks at the beginning, then there were just 5 of them...
What are they eating? each other. I wouldn't want to be in that watery grave when it breaks. Does the noice from the loud people travel into the tank and magnify it? So sterile not a live plant in there or eco system... hell nature did it better before we destroyed it all.

I have scuba dived with these creatures in their own habitats.Whalesharks, dolphins, stingrays, turtles, sharks, They will survive much longer in thier own enviroment than here. The Georgia Aquarium has had two whalesharks die-is that public news? Do they tell you how it's captured? OR that its taken from its pod? Or they have to be almost 12 to 15 years old before they can breed? You know very little ..dont you? So much for learning from the zoo. .

@ladysblues okay, so u scuba dived, and u know a few facts, what part of that makes you any smarter then me? I am a fish breeder, i breed and sell everything from koi carp, to small sharks. So don't go thinking that 'your better then me' because i stated that all you have done is given money which goes towards keeping them in the aquarium, how ever small or large the amount of money is.

When I scuba dvie? I'm in the open ocean water, not in a tank or aquarium. Your comments have zero to do with what I stated. I don't support aquariums or any activities that support keeping these creatures in captivity.
NOR do I make a buck off of them by sellling them.

number 2 i take it you also don't agree with rehabilitation tanks for wild marine life, you know, like when a boat from one of the invaders cuts them up real bad, or a stupid oil company makes a stupid mistake and covers them in oil.

@ladysblues Of course, in some cases, after this rehab, the animals can't go back, they'd die. they've become too trusting of humans, or have even been raised by them and therefore have no idea how to survive on their own. You probably also don't agree with the ease of life and lengthened lifespans these animals have, or how they may help discourage MORE stupid invaders. You know, I have an idea, lets take lady's advice and go scuba diving instead. I'm sure these animals would be much happier
