Since when is a town of 3000 worth more than 132,000 acres of farmland and crops? Besides they aren't telling the affects of blowing the levee on other towns downriver.

Doesn't it strike anyone other than me that they never blew levees to release pressure when St Louis flooded several years back. A huge CITY that had acres flooded.

This happened in 1993 as well, in the town of Valmeyer. They have the right do this. The river is 63 feet, and is going to top the levy anyway, real soon. I personally feel that this is the correct thing to do.

The area between Cairo (pronounced Kay-Roe, oddly enough) Illinois and Paducah, Kentucky is an old stomping ground of mine as my mother and her family were rooted there. I still have friends and relatives in the area, so I am very concerned. Is this part of New Madrid fault line manipulation? It would seem so!

More food goes out of production. Up north the weather has been to cold to plant! No telling what happened to the crops in the SE? The gulf moisture had corexit in it I'm sure. I seen the effects of that last summer in the upper Midwest. With what happened in the bread belt of Europe last summer with all the fires etc. Seems to me like a massive scale starvation has been planned for the whole world!
