I love this episode, though I disagree that the battle isn't interesting. I especially love the one-on-one duel between Robogoat and Red Ranger. That's a GREAT fight! To me, this is one of the best episodes of season two. Then as the season went on, Lord Zedd was toned down to be made less scary, we lost Jason, Zack and Trini, and the later episodes got more goofy ("Storybook Rangers", anyone?).
Why can't I figure out the Super Sentai version of this episode at all? OR the one with "Primator" ? Were they lost episodes that Saban somehow got their hands on or am I not looking hard enough?
No. Sorry that's not the case. These fights are from a thing called Zyu2. See when Power Rangers made a big boom in the U.S. Saban asked Toei to make new monsters for PR to make it longer in the U.S. But some people think that after Toei made a another short season of Zyuranger. But I'm not sure.

This is the best ZYU2 fight ever! My favorite one of all time! Hey if you look at Super Sentai World there's a monster that uses the Sword Robogoat has in this episode.
That footage of the rangers falling after the ground splits always seemed to me to be American footage. It just looks too "new" compared to the dirtiness of how the Japanese footage usually looks.
Why did it turn into a stick twice? "Zordon teleported it back to the Command Center" is a bs excuse. It turned into the exact same stick that Green Ranger held when he pulled out the sword. It probably had to do with some kind of requirement of those who held the sword....
I reckon that Robogoat planted a fake one for Burai/Tommy and sneaking off with the real one in MMPR and Zyuranger. When Robogoat fought the Zyurangers with the real sword, I reckon that Geki ended up destroying it as he felt that is what it would take to beat Robogoat and free the other Zyurangers.
Watch Blue Ranger as the Rangers run up to face RoboGoat at 1:40 ("Welcome, Rangers!"). When they stop running, Blue Ranger slips and very nearly falls right on his butt. It's awesome.
Bringing Burai back to life I imagine, I figure he was living on borrowed time at this point and would die soon, the sword of power would give him his life again or something like that.
If you visit the Grnrngr website, it says that the assumed episode title for the zyu2 episode, adapted for the Green Dream, is The Brothers Sword Of Hope meaning that Burai needed it to restore his life permanently
Now that I think about the Grnrngr web page, I think he must have taken guesses for episode names, he's even gone as far as taking guesses at names for the zyu2 monsters. It's likely that TOEI didn't bother with any of that as it wouldn't be used as 1) the episodes weren't aired in Japan and 2) giving monsters names involves dialogue which, if it was added, would have got dubbed over anyway.

If I'm not mistaken there's a massive explosion when Robogoat uses the grow bomb, and I get the weirdest feeling that it's a Power Blaster use there.
