unfortunately what Pride turn in to is just an excuse to party get drunk and fuck people from other city, i do not think that parade on a car dressed as lady give a good picture of who gays are.
i don't know about the USA, but here in Europe is nothing but a big masquerade... a reason more why straight are discriminating us, a political move of the government that allow us to "freedom " for a day

Make the punishment fit the crime -which, in this case it does not. I do not believe everything in life is freely given and I have actually had to work for where I am today despite my age. Pride is the best thing ever, it encourages so many others to be true to who they are and proud of who they are. I agree that everyone should be treated equally. I hate the fact that liking the same sex is digusting and filth, yet they don't realise that it's just the same as loving the opposite. Love is love and no matter what sex, it's the best thing. The parades and pride month are there as reminders that being gay, or part of the LGBTQ community, is not wrong, nor "flithy" or "freaky", and that we should be proud of it. You are a blatant example of why these events NEED to take place. They are put together so as to get attention and claim a spot in modern society, one that shouldn't even have to be fought for, because that "accepting" society doesn't yet recognize the LGBTQ community as an equal to others.

@AnImmortalLover I think you misunderstood me. I'm not homofobic at all, I myself am gay! But most gays "misrepresent" the parade, they don't take it seriosly to claim their rights. A friend of a friend, e.g., goes to the parade to make out with as many guys as possible. Most people go for it, not to mention queers overacting, violence and other things. So what's the porpouse? People, governors and society, instead of get moved and join the cause, they get disgusted, including myself.

But, the New Testament also condemns the homosexual lifestyle (I Cor 6:9-11, along with Rom 1:24-27 that I cited previously). And the fact that straights can have anal sex does not negate that all of the stat's on AIDS from the beginning point to male-on-male anal sex as the primary mode of transmission. I am singling out homosexuality because the pro-LGBT side is demanding my approval.
