TL;DR: I remember watching this on my HBO demand in the middle of last year on my big screen, and lying in bed. She executed her plan for help, and seized Tyrion so perfectly, and the minute those swords came flying out there was a very audible, and loud.. "Whooo shit!" from me. I knew this was my new favorite show at that moment.

I hate that everyone's insisting that it was this that started the war. People are so stupid! Stannis and Renley would still declare themselves king, Ned would still tell Cersei he knows leading to her arresting him, which would make Robb join the war. This had absolutely nothing to do with the war.

@AnahSkywalker It's Varys and Littlefinger. Littlefinger thrives in chaos, and Varys wanted to "prepare" Westeros for Aegon VI's return with Danerys Stormborn (although the plan was foiled with the Mereenese crisis and Tyrion whispering in Aegon's ear)
