  • What an incredible song!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice touch with the harmonics. The wah-wah work is really good here!!!!!!

  • whoa whoa whoa, what's goin' on in here?

  • yes, my lady .good music, neg on the comments. Jerry Garcia does this one justice as well.

  • its so sad how his debut solo album is so under appreciated. Layla & Other Assorted Love Songs and Eric Clapton are my favorite albums of all time. Great music.

  • No way josey

sorry but not in a million years well at least in my opinion.

  • Cream was the original rock jam band.

  • The were a complete Band..Not a Jam Band..dah

  • Narrow minded response DAH

So your saying that the Grateful Dead can only be considered as a Complete band and not a jam band also.

Cream eas a Complete band, a rock band, a blues band, a R&B band, the worlds greatest soloists, and a jam band who got Sunshine and White Room onto AM radio in the late 60's DAH

  • I woudnt put TGD on the same page as Cream..Cream did something that wasnt done before and not since..and they are not a jam band..they are 3 musicians who got together and played music ..respectively Brilliant

  • You havent a clue they were not a Jam Band they were set up as a Blues Rock band....the did stretch there songs..they did not just go on stage and jam...

  • i still play their stuff on vinyl. i bet i have more of a clue then you .

no reason for us two fans to get into a pissing contest. we both appreciate Cream. lets just leave it at that,

  • I seen there 1st farewell Concert..and I have everything that Eric every recorded and all Bootlegs..you want competition..u got it..have seen Every UK concert he did..Have followed Eric since Yardbird days..and got the Vinyl...so dont thro that at me mate..I appreciate we got that in common..so before you jump of the cliff get facts correct..am even a guitar player of over 42 years standing..

  • @brymacbluesband wtf is wrong with you people??? Music is made to be enjoyed and appreciated......not fucking argued about!! Grow the fuck up!!!

  • MM sounds like good advice for yourself there...

  • Ah!!!! Now I get it!

    Read your other spewage.

"Obsessed Fan"! And so proud of it!

How's that workin' out for you, eh mate??

On this side of the pond, we have a little saying for folks like you:

    GET A FUCKING LIFE!!

  • best place for you....nor obsessed..just cant stand people blowing off when they havent a clue...and what side of the pond are you..mate

  • Make love not war. What would Eric do??

    Sheesh! Go get shagged.

  • I do regularly, sounds like you dont.....

  • It's pretty obvious, isn't it?! ;)

I'm just VERY picky and don't get out enough. Living with CFS and Bi-Polar Disorder really does a number on a person's "social life"!

Been going through a real dry spell and it sucks! But that is gonna change soon!! Big time!! Watch out, all you horny bastards!!

  • I will be watching...lol take care..B

  • Cheers!

I may or may not take the e-cam down;)

  • nice song

  • Jerry Garcia Band did a great version of this in the 70's. Get your hands on 3-18-78 from Warner Theatre, Wash. DC. Amazing stuff...

  • rest in peace... delaney... u are one of rocks greatest influence!!!!!!!

  • Influenced whoo..cant think of anyone..

  • Garcia and Clapton had this in common: at their best, both guitarists were endlessly creative live players. As for technique, Clapton by his own admission is limited, but as for influence, hands down Clapton has more "classics" that every kid who ever picked up a guitar has tried to emulate (even SRV learning crossroads as a kid).

  • clapton felt very comfy.. around the delta blues scene in 1969-1970... jammin with delaney & bonnie... leon russell... duane allman... rita coolidge and what became known as.. derek and the dominos... made clapton... rocks most versatile musician.. and a great session man.. too

  • and please dont forget he also played with The Beatles, and George Harrison

  • the first time i heard this song it was covered by jerry garcia and donna

  • Yeah, it does stink

  • Lol...well, at least no one can accuse you of not sticking to your guns....everyone's entitled to their opinion.

  • If you can't say something nice, just shut the fuck up - and Gobo, do likewise.

  • If you can't say something nice, just shut the fuck up. And GreatGobo, fuck you too.

  • Sorry, jpboonexxvii. You have a point. It's a good song, and I generally enjoy Clapton's music, but after hearing and being so familiar with the New Grass Revival cover of this Clapton song, I was expecting much more.

    It does not "stink".
