  • fuck dwayne wade that's why he can't win a ring without shaq

  • @bmoreravenfan you could say that but i would say he was the mvp in the finals so he played the best

  • Mavs fans stop whining. The refs make plenty of bad calls, and if Wade gets mor of them, it's because he goes hard to the hole.

I've never watched an NBA game, no matter who the players were, where there weren;t a lot fo calls liek this.

  • ummm ok this is a foul on harris? This is not a "Phantom foul" I agree some of the other calls throughout this series were questionable but that doesnt mean the refs "gave" the series to the heat. What makes a team great is being able to respond to poor calls, there are poor calls in every game.

  • For what it's worth, the Heat might not have shot any free throws for most of the first half because of the fact that they shot pretty much only 3 point shots the entire first half...

  • The refs went to jail for throwing the game, look it up

  • @utrocks1123

That was Tim Donaughy, who never even reffed any of the 06 finals games............

  • IN A SEVEN GAME SERIES, THE BEST TEAM WINS!

  • Correct call on Harris. If he was trying to take a charge then he should've had his feet set plus he did not beat Wade to the spot. If he wasn't trying to take a charge then he should've gone straight up.

  • @srch4trth have you watched the other phantom foul videos? it doesn't matter if you go straight up, they're going to call the foul for wade.

  • @xxplanoxx I don't need to watch the other "phantom fouls" to determine if THIS foul on Harris is the right call. My original comment still stands. Foul on Harris.

Have you tried to ref a game before on any level? I have, mostly at the recreational high school though. However even at the rec or HS level, the pace is extremely fast. And you'e asking humans to not only see everything but make the right call on the spot. So naturally they're going make and miss calls that you don't agree with.

  • @srch4trth I'm not talking about how hard it is to make the right call, I'm talking about if this is the right call or not. Which it isn't.

Contact initiated by the defensive player is not legal, but Wade jumped into the defender.

    NBA Rule 12 B Section I.

    Ok, now you go.

  • @xxplanoxx This call is made all the time in games. So what should we complain that every game has been thrown? This was the correct call.

  • @Noles13100 Jumping into the defender is not called like this in all games. And when it is they are getting the call wrong. Check the rules for yourself, I did.

I realize the refs can't be perfect, but that doesn't mean I can't bitch when they make terrible calls.

Does nobody remember 2002 when it came to light that Stern told the refs "It would be in the interest of the league if the series goes to a game 7."? I think it was the LA / Sacramento series. It wasn't an isolated event.

  • @xxplanoxx I know im right along with you about bitching about calls. But hey whats done is done this happened 5 yrs ago.

  • @xxplanoxx The offensive player is most certainly allowed to jump into a defender to initiate contact. Wade does it all the time on his pump fake. He get's the defender in the air then he jumps into him, thus causing a foul. When a offensive player creates illegal contact with a defender it's called a charge. Which brings me back to my original comment on why Harris was called for the foul.

I honestly think that this could've been a blocking foul or a non call. But not a charge on Wade.

  • @srch4trth You really shouldn't make generalizations about how the game should be called based upon the player who gets sent to the line for falling down (not here, but it happens a LOT). I get what you're saying about drawing the foul and I agree, but that's not what happens here. This is just two guys playing ball. It's not a charge, and it's not a block. Should have been a no call.

  • @xxplanoxx I made no generalizations. I stated a fact. If a defensive player bites on a pump fake and gets into the air. A smart offensive player will jump into him to draw the foul. I only mentioned Wade for continuity. But statement is true on any level. As for this being a no call or a blocking foul, that depends on the refs position during the play. The baseline ref saw it as a block and made the call.

  • @srch4trth I can't see from the ref's eyes, I can only see from the camera angles. And when you look back at it, this should have been a no call.

Are the refs human? Yes. Do they make mistakes? Yes. Was this one of them? In my opinion, yes.

  • @xxplanoxx And that's precisely why I mention how hard a ref's job is. The ref doesn't have the luxury, on this type of call, to go back and check the replay or a different camera angle. Also if he was doubtful he could've conversed with the other refs and if they saw it differently then it could be changed.

  • This is a phantom foul??? Harris did not go straight up = foul!!!

And talk about floppers, Devin harris is widely considered one of the top 5 in the game !! This is simply pathetic defense by Devin, nothing more. He was beat, he should've trusted Dampier would help. Instead he tried to flop like he did all series and screened his own teammate, a decent shot blocked who could've contested this shot better. And 1 more thing, Devin was in the restricted area and moving = foul foul foul foul.

  • @nickrock23 no way is devin top five flopper, come on man. D fish,Ginobli, Varejo,Scola and at the time of these final i believe Valde Divacs was still in the league.

  • @HairOin661 I'd put Ginobili at #1 Fisher #2 but it's close... and Scola and Vlade weren't in league then, or not really playing much. Devin back then would be in my top 5. Raja Bell would def. be in there too, he is a good defender but he is dirty as hell.

  • @suciochanch I'd usually agree with you about the refs not being able to "give away" an entire series, but in this case that's exactly what happened. It was the most one-sided officiating I've ever seen. Wade attempted like 3 times as many free throws as the entire Mavericks team, and 3 of the 4 games Miami won were by 3 pts or less. Mavs were blatantly cheated out of a ring, and no one even seemed to care. I just wish someone woulda stood up and thrown the BS flag at all these ridiculous calls.

  • HOW IS THIS NOT A FOUL?? PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME

  • @GWHEATCUBS16 it IS a foul. it's an offensive foul on dwyane wade. devin harris had legal defensive position. he kept his hands straight up and his body in front of the offensive player positioned perfectly. dwyane wade just jumps into him ELBOW FIRST. that's a clear offensive foul, yet it was called on dwyane wade.

  • @suciochanch Actually I coached and reffed basketball at a high school level, and in no level of play you are allow to jump elbow first into a defender's face. The rule you quoted was valid, but not applicable because it only applies to the help defense coming over to take the charge. The on-ball defender is given the freedom of motion because it is not possible to guard a moving player by standing still. They only need to keep a legal defensive stance and position. Hope this helps.

  • @jliu524 Thanks for the info. You make a good point ;)

  • @jliu524 Sorry to all for coming across as rude: I just get really fired up when people make claims that the Heat were GIVEN a title. It's not a one-time game full of bad calls. Each team has SEVEN CHANCES to win and the Mavs simply couldn't finish the job. Also, the Mavs won the 1st two games, so what happened? The refs decided to make them lose the next 4? It doesn't really add up... But again, my apologies for any rudeness :)

  • @suciochanch Actually it makes complete sense. If the mavs had gone up 3-0 and then followed up by sweeping the series, it wouldn't have gotten much money. Stern is all about his fucking money. (That's why he only allows BIG city teams to win. ex: Miami). The refs handed this series to Wade and the Heat, there is no way to argue it. Even with all this bullshit, the mavs only lost by 1,2,3 points. Plus, did you SEE the final foul in game 3? It was basically, oh mavs up by 1? Here's 2 free throws

  • @BonJoviFanboy "Big Teams" like San Antonio? 4 rings in the 10 years... And yes, it was a foul: please google the image, but one thing I'll give you is that they called the foul on Dirk and not Harris, but it was a CLEAR foul regardless. I'll say it over and over, in a seven game series, the best team wins. It's really that simple.

  • @BonJoviFanboy Ok, so your theory is that the NBA rigged the series so the Heat would not go down 3-0. Let me give you a rundown of what happened in the last quarter of Game 3, it was on NBA-TV last night. The Mavs were up 14 and then Dwyane Wade hit a ton of crazy shots, while the Mavs tried to run out the clock every possession. They couldn't make 1 wide open shot, and then with 9 seconds left, Dirk missed a FT that would have tied the game. Let me guess, Dirk was in on the fix too...

  • @BonJoviFanboy The final foul in game 3? The final foul in Game 3 was an intentional foul because they were down 1 with 9 seconds left. Wade wasn't hitting FT's in the 4th quarter of game 3, he was hitting crazy jumpshots from everywhere. He probably outscored the entire Mavs team without the few FT's. They were down 1 with a few seconds left because Dirk CHOKED at the FREE THROW LINE. stop whining the Mavs were outcoached and outplayed in every category for the series.

  • @nickrock23 Stereotypical Heat fan who comes to every video proving the controversy and argues the Heat won b/c of skill. That's why, with the SAME TEAM, they finished 8th the next season right? Have you even SEEN these videos? Watch all 5 and they are obviously not fouls. "But a foul or two doesn't decide a series." When games are decided by less than 3 points, it does. Oh, and Wade shot like 20 foul shots PER GAME. It's normal for this to happen once in a while but EVERY DAMN GAME? I think not

  • @BonJoviFanboy Typical Mavs whiner. Wade went to the line 15 times a game, not 20. Jordan and Kobe and Shaq among many many others have shot more in a series. Mavs used hack-a-shaq too much.

But you will watch last nights game and say it was called fair when the Heat went the first 21 minutes of the game without taking a FT. Chandler should've fouled out early in the 3rd quarter. We don't make videos saying how we've lost 2 game in a month and both happened to be the Crawford/Mauer crew. Do we?

  • @BonJoviFanboy Well the same Lakers team that won last year got swept by the mavs early this year. Anything can happen in sports.

  • @suciochanch No worries man. =]

  • Are you ladies still hurting the 06 Heat Champion Finals???Forget the refs and ask Josh what happened with that timeout,,or ask Dirk what's up with clutch free throws..You may get a couple bad calls, but don't tell you lost a whole series because of bad calls..What Wade did to the Mavs in that 3rd game was criminal and showed that Dallas was mentally weak. But anyway,,you'll have your chance for revenge this year, take it if you can.And keep in mind you won't have it again.

  • @harryga83 Totally agree! A ref may cost you a close game or two, but AN ENTIRE SERIES?? I always say, you can't let a ref beat you. If you want to beat a team you need to go out and win by 10-15 points and not let the refs decide a game for you. If you lose a close game because of bad calls, then you didn't deserve to win. Period.

  • My last comment should read: "Wade, knowing the rules, drove into Harris, whose feet were still moving (meaning he could claim to be taking a charge).

I accidentally typed "Basket" when I meant "Harris."

  • I agree with the "Phantom Foul 1" video. There shouldn't have been a foul called. This video, however, is a blocking foul, not a charge, period.

The NBA sucks nowadays because they make it hard to play defense. Wade was driving to the basket, and Harris was trying to stay in between Wade and the basket. Wade, knowing the rules, drove into Basket, whose feet were still moving (i.e., not taking a charge) and made contact physical contact with Wade, the ballhandler, while shooting- that's a foul.

  • @21mitch4 ur a joke. stating that you watch it for the first time is stupid. Keep watching dumbass

  • thats a blocking foul all day and I just watched that for the first time

  • If this is as bad as it got, I don't think anyone has much to complain about. This is a 50 50 call. Sometimes you get them sometimes you don't.

The idea of the team is to put themselves in a position where one bad call doesn't effect the outcome of the game. The Mav's didn't do that, better luck this year.

  • ahm mate are we sure bout that one? were his feet in the zone?

  • @TechnoDunker

That's not the issue...it's an offensive foul because Wade was pushing off.

  • @shawnjacob32 Pushing with his body??? You make no sense and definitely DON'T KNOW HOW TO PLAY BASKETBALL.

  • @suciochanch

I'm glad you stuck with the context of my comment.

  • Just a miserable call.

  • first of all bring the audio with the video so we can see if it was a foul called or what. Second you can see terry was riding wade kinda like you mavs fans riding the mavs dick

  • @animebrawler that was harris defending wade.

  • @animebrawler Moron.

  • Its called a block moron....Harris was moving when Wade bumped him....Block...read the rule book....

  • Shut the fuuuck up and stop complaining..

It is what it is.. You just have to deal with it..

Crybabies! LOL! It's life except it.. LOL!

  • @muamdev209 said this in the other video...the exact same thing

  • Shut the fuuuck up and stop complaining..

It is what it is.. You just have to deal with it..

Crybabies! LOL! It's life except it.. LOL!

  • every1 who think this series was fixed or a setup is a pathetic betch

  • Fall down 7 times, get a foul call 8.

  • LOL! only the people who DIDNT watch the game would think the series was rigged. I SAW THE GAME. Wade was

12-18 for the field. He was making SHOT after SHOT after SHOT. The mavs NEVER doulbled him. Its the MAVS fault.

  • thats stupid. if they didn't watch the game then why would they automatically think its rigged. your a tard

  • @liason514 going to say the same thing for every one of these videos?

  • bunch of wade haters... mavericks suck anyway lol

  • even if he rode him the whole way call the foul on the floor not an and one thats just ridiculous and basketball is a contact sport remember that

  • Thats a blocking foul because he rode Wade the entire way to the basket, if he took a better angle and set his feet, he would have got a charge because wade was in fact out of control but because harris rode him, its a foul... its a foul in high school, college, and the NBA

  • Mark Cuban is the best and worst thing that ever happened to the Dallas Mavericks.

ROBBED AGAIN BY A JEW. sorry i had to say it.

David Stern, is a businessman. Dwayne Wade equals revenue.

Plenty of people saw this series. And most of them know what actually happened. Dwayne Wade didn't deserve that title, and he knows it.

  • u guys are stupid...devin harris falls on every play, even w the nets....he cant play defense and i wanna see someone else drive the basket and score on someone who keeps falling..its dangerous, u could sprain ankle, twist a knee...devin harris has no place in the nba..he's perfect for the nets cuz all they do is flop anyways..

  • How dare that Mav get in Wade's way. He should be able to shoot laypus. Since he is a "legend" and all.

Gee...Wade hasn't done much since, has he? I guess when Stern isn't desperate to keep Cuban from winning a title, Wade isn't so hot.

  • Anyone who thinks this is an offensive foul has never watched NBA basketball

  • Maybe not but it sure as heck wasn't a block on Harris either.

  • Certainly it isn't an offensive foul, but it sure as hell ain't a defensive foul.

  • foul, makes contact with wades hands just after he takes off

  • Everyone know Bennett Salvatore GAVE Wade and the Heat the finals.

  • @ramblinhaze A ref can't give away an entire series. sorry.

  • @ramblinhaze Joe Crawford gave dirk his

  • gotta stay in front of your man

  • This is y the nba is garbage, that should have been an offensive foul is ur going to blow the whistle as the offense player cleary initiates contact with the defender. You dont have to have ur arms straight up or be set if an offensive player jumps into u like that to draw and the charge. All hes trying to do is go to the line cause he didnt have a shot, crappy basketball.

  • if your feet aren't set and you fall over making any contact with the shooter, that is almost always a blocking foul.

  • Arms not being straight up = foul.

  • clear foul every time in the nba.

  • think about it guys.. mark cuban called out david stern so many times that season.. the last thing he wanted to do is hand him the trophy, and if the refs didnt make that ridiclious call in game 3, dallas would be up 3-0= boring finals and no ratings..

  • think about it guys.. mark cuban called out david stern so many times that season.. the last thing he wanted to do is hand him the trophy, and if the refs didnt make that ridiclious call in game 3, dallas would be up 3-0= boring finals and no ratings..

  • stop using excuses.. game 3 was just one game.. they lost 4 in a row and its nobody elses fault but the mavs.

  • so when wade shot fakes and creates contact and gets a foul call, that shouldnt be allowed

  • If Wade is the one initiating the contact, then no.

  • NBA conspiracy to create the next "MJ" started by David Stern the Nutcase and his band of stooges. Trivia: Dwyane wade was a theatre student in college.

  • ugh, its a bad camera angle... it could've gone either way honestly... coz Wade jumped into him. but Harris might've also jumped non-vertically.

  • Wade did the exact same thing to Adrian Griffin in the final seconds of regulation in Game 5. He pushed him over with his shoulder, then banked the shot in.

  • umm, thats how u draw a foul for an easy bucket. all good players know that

  • The Ballad of Shaq, David,& Dwyane

There is a Woman Named Wade

She lived in a County named Dade

    Ms. Wade like to Ball

Although she was Not very Tall

    She could Not Shoot

    She could Not Dribble

She could not even make Child like Riddles

    She could Not pass

She was @ the Bottom of her Class

  • Ms Wade was so Bad

That people would Boo her & make her Sad

Than came a Fat man named Shaq

And he Taught little Miss Wade how to Hack

The Fat Man said he had a Friend Named Stern

Who used to Work in a Law Firm

The Fat Man said it doesn't matter if U can Not Play

Mr. Stern will save the Day

  • Mr. Stern said to Miss Wade

    U will sell Telephones, Gatorade

    U will sell Jersey's & Shoes

And U will no longer Hear the Boos

    Ms. Wade was so Happy

She said this is" Good "

Now I don't have to go back to the Hood

So this was the Story of Shaq, David & Dwyane

Isn't it enough to drive U Insane

  • how can you people be made at Wade. He is not calling these fouls get mad at the refs or the NBA but not Wade and the Heat

  • the thing was it was harris moving and off his feet...he put himself in that call

  • he left his feet, when a player is in the air u cant touch him...

  • holy fuck...that was NO FUCKING FOUL!!!

  • it was so much of a hose job!

  • dwayne fade at it again.

  • he makes a living off of awful calls

  • Wade is a Woman

  • Well @ least they don't give Wade extra fouls shots like Shaq. Poor Shaq lets give him another foul shot Poor D-Wade She is a Woman

  • We saw what D-Wade was all about in Japan without NBA referees . D-WADE is a WOMAN.

  • Wade is a Woman

  • CLEARLY an OFFENSIVE FOUL. The game of Baketball was Not designed for a Man to drive the Ball to the Basket recksely an Create contact & get the Benfit of going to the Foul line. Wade Clearly jumps into Harris

  • This is the only vid of the five that MAY have been called right... depends on whether Devin is in the restricted area but it's too hard to tell from this video.

  • Nah, more like winning a championship without refs.

  • Wade had 97 FT attempts in the 2006 NBA Finals. Jordan only had 33 FT attempts in the 1991 NBA Finals. Wade had a lot of help from the referees and David Stern. I would like to see Wade win a championship without Shaq.

  • devin harris was trying to get an offensive foul... but he was inside the restricted area thing... if u can see he flopped trying to get a charge but the referee couldn't call it to be an offensive fould on wade because he was stepping on the arc thing!!! so if i was the referee i would call it a blocking foul!!!

  • Oh God, I remember that play...
