I bought "God shuffled his feet" back in 94 just for "mmmm" and never listened to the cd in it's entirety. I finally did last month and have never stopped listening to it. I love the whole album, it's a very captavating album and a genius. I always made fun of them back in the day. Now, they are one of my favorites. Awsome musicianship and harmonical vocals. I watched this band...back in the day. I'd say better days.....and be wrong.

Whatever it was he had...it never went away. He may be different now, but then, so am I. His problems may have left a trail across his soul and face.....but I guess they never touched the thing that makes his songs special.

This one seems particularly poingnant, as it tells of discarded heroes and days of glory lost.

If you ever see the video it is Superman's funeral, and they have all the super heroes and stuff there and they are all dressed in their superhero clothes but they are much much older. The song and the video are both absolutely beautifully touching.
