If ur just starting shoulderspins, you should practice wipping ur legs and catching yourself with your free hand before you try and grab your leg, because if you try to do it continuously at first you will fail cause thats what happened to me wen i first started this move.

when din g spinning move always with your stabbing hand. so in your case left.
