@cudaslayer Do't get upset, I just hate hot glue because it's like the most unprofessional thing that could be ever used to hold stuff together. It's messy, awfull and hard to paint over.

While I can imagine your Hulk looking quite nice after being well painted, I'm pretty sure all these blobs would be still visible, sticking out like some scary goo of Nurgle.

It's about the same nastiness as having a great painted model with flash lines sticking out.

@mefpazur Not really, a few swipes with a cigarette lighter smooths it out, and a little careful paint will cover it up. And I am not mad at all, your comment was just kind of "out of left field" so to speak.

Look better that any hulk I even seen in my friends fleets, but i recommend to make prow more sharp (prow of Imperial/chaos cruiser will be ok).

If you look at the space hulk that was in the second BFG book, you can clearly see the glue on that as well. Besides, as stated in the description for the video, this was a unfinished model at the time it was filmed before I sold it off with the rest of my then ork fleet.

Space Hulks are the combination of various ships, comets, asteroids, etc, that have managed to come together while all floating around in space and the warp.

Poor looking model... its a start but it needs paint... look at it you can see where he used a glue gun on the thing.. also the paint would make the rocks look more to scale.

It was a project that I never finished, and if you look at the other space hulks that were presented in the BFG book, they were made with hot glue as well.

Have you tried using a vinyl turntable set to slow speed for rotations? It works very well in my experience.

Eh, if I had time to go through a few garage sales to find a old record player, I would. But on the other hand, a turntable like that would not give you as much control on the rotation, such as stopping for longer veiws, etc.

But on the other hand, the wobble does give it a nice ametuer look to it, almost "Blair Witch" or "Cloverfield" style.

actually they make there landing craft out of hallowed out astroids ussaually orks dont make there own space craft they take space hulks which are a bunch of space ships crush together into one orky looking craft
