  • @ELMSLines It is the same thing.

  • i have a prr 2-10-0 it has a awsome soundsystem

  • I wonder who the 7 pieces of garbage were that would have voted this video down.

  • MTH put the wrong sound file in that shay. They dont chug like that.

  • simple question, where do you get that gravel for the tracks? just at a hobby store? is it expensive? any cheep alternatives? thanks

  • I have the N&W y6b engine, but I love your Cass Scenic shay engine. Is it also MTH? Makes me a proud West Virginian to see it.

  • Yes the Shay is a MTH model.

  • the first train looks like a half train.

  • @whipcrackist010 It's called the Shay, and they are used to climb steep grades to deliver cargo, mainly log trains. Their gear arrangement allows them to climb 1-3% grades.

  • can i come play with yo trains im a big trin fan

  • awesome layout !!!!!!

  • Thanks

  • The accurate smoke blower fans are just simply amazing! Fantastic!

  • nice job

  • Thanks everyone for all the great comments. I will be shooting some new videos in the coming months so stay tuned.

  • that big one must've been a bitch to pay for, especially with the sound and smoke.

  • amen to that

  • Is your layout scale trax?

  • Yes the layout is done completely with Scaletrax. I have about 600' of track and 50+ switches. Thanks

  • nice

  • I love your weathered rail box!!!!!!

  • Outstanding!!! enjoyed watching it so much that I had to read all the comments. Please keep posting these!

  • cool, is that a big-boy at 1:44?

  • No its a Y6

  • great smoke effects. I'm an HO person, but the smoke and sound is one of my favorite things about O scale.

  • LOVE the last runby! Creeping and puffing is fine, but blasting out of that tunnel was very nice. Lets see more of the whole layout, please!

  • nice job!

  • CSX Al - looks great! Need to crank up the chuff rate on that shay though!

  • nice job. i cant wait to see the rest of the layout

  • I like the N&W. Nice layout and the smoking is fabulous.

  • Great engines, sound and look like the old ones use to.

  • the loco sound is what i no

  • -Hello!!! this video is wonderfol and original. Made but intelligent people....bYe. Please made more a interesting video for this.

  • that is nice for a lionel trian... i got ho scale:D

any ways not many people have grass and trees with thier Lionel train:) nice job!

  • wow!!

  • Wow, very nice. I have an MTH set myself. I like it alot.

  • is that big one a Y6?

  • MTH stuff ? Great !!!

  • Yep, Thanks!

  • In the steam era, you wouldnt see TAG style graffiti on boxcars. Other than that looking out of place, the layout and locomotives are beautiful. Good Work.

  • Thanks, a lot of stuff is still mixed in consists until I get the layout finished.

  • You would've seen "Tag" style graffiti back then. Tag graffiti has been around since the 1950s, the end of the steam days in America.

  • it would have said something like "kilroy was here"

  • I think he did that on purpose to show the side-rod action. Fun to watch-especially on the y6b. (that is a y6b-right?) A magnificent locomotive-the articulated double-chuff is beautiful!

  • Your right about the slow motion, I'm planning a new video with some more trains moving at a faster pace. I love the Y6B I have the Lionel Big Boy on order, if they ever ship it with the TMCC ll, that will be an awesome engine to film.

  • I love seeing that Y6b crawl at a few SMPH -- that's impressive! Any department store special can do mach 1. Do keep a respirator nearby in case the smoke gets too thick?

  • Cool layout. Very realistic. I like the boxcar with the sprainpaint graffitti on the side. My only complaint would be that until the final 5 seconds, all of the trains are moving awfully slow. They'll all in rail-yard speed.

  • thank you very much

  • Hi AL,

Nice video! Was wondering how you got so much smoke out of the Shay. Is it Lionel or MTH?

    Matt Ashland City, TN

  • HI Matt Thanks. The shay is MTH and I use JT's Mega Steam smoke fluid.

    Al

  • very VERY nice.

  • I love the scenery, next time will you show more of your layout?

  • Wow! Amazing stuff!!

  • Thanks you.

  • Nice Layout

  • Thank you!
