@SetYouUp That's true! I never thought about it. Crash 1 had tropical areas, then castles, caves and labs. Crash 2 starts with jungles and ended with space levels and jungles at night (the firefly levels). Crash 3... Slight exception, but the first level still felt relaxed. Same with Wrath of Cortex's ice level and the final space level. TwinSanity had a demonic alternate universe at the end of it. Titans & MOM had a giant robot, factories and a space area at the end of their games. Cool trend!

Finally! I got the gym. This level gave me the most trouble. Took me about 50 tries. I got past the box bridge first try. Way easier than the box bridge on N Sanity Beach. IMO this level is harder to perfect than Slippery Climb. That level just takes some getting used to.

*Sighs* This is the only level in the entire game I can't complete so I can't get the 100% ending because I can't go and get all the boxes without dying. I either die and get all the boxes later or I forget some obxcure boxes. That is so frustrating....

To make matters worse my disk was buggy, meaning it'd often crash at the loading screen!

Completing it though was almost orgasmic in relief.

I think it's one of Cortex' mutants, somekind of potoroo just like Pinstripe.

Pinstripe is loyal to Cortex and I think those 'gun guys in suits' are members of his 'clan' or something, you can compare it to mafiosi, I think :p

Ahh, this reminds me of that 1 impossible level in Crash 2: Cortex Strikes Back. The level where it's all dark and has more than 1 passage-way, which I think is a room/level at the top floor... I hated that place so much... I actually obtained all of the boxesto get the gem... I used that "Side-Walk" trick to get over the giant gorge(s), if I remember correctly. That was one of the HARDEST levels of my life.
