Goose VS. Dog

I was chased by several geese once on a golf course. It is not a pleasant feeling.

Actually Geese necks are very powerful. they almost double there neck size in battle and there wing span full grown is like 4 feet side to side! and they Hiss like a Cat. and can run pretty fast. And there nip when they snap is pretty strong! i have 2 geese and 1 of them defended itself against 3 dogs and won!.. they can also can fly off if they need to just enough to get away, But obviously any animal can be taken down.

At first I was holding my breathe gosh that was a bit risky but it goes to show that animals have their own way of doing things and humans wouldve reacted in a panicky way and that would have made the dog nervous and boom a ulgy situation.....Lovely dog and brave goose.....animals rule....just gotta let them be sometimes...

That's not playing, that goose is going to get injured. I know it was a long time ago, but to the casual viewer: Dog/cat saliva is poisonous to birds. Literally poisonous. It can cause severe bacterial infection that can kill in hours, or days, depending on the bird. Dogs and cats have toxic mouths, as they are animals descended from predators.
