A hot button moment for me! I have about 50 video interviews from a tech convention last week, and I am gettin' 'em up and optimizing them as fast as I can. I tested out your transcription tip - and it worked like a charm. Now I did use the YT transcription and did about 10 minutes of corrections but it was well worth it. Would like to hear more about having a video playlist on my blog. Great Job Once Again Tom!

Hi Tom, I appreciate the tip, and further explanation of YouTube has been able to "hear" the words spoken in videos, and that if you know this can help your keywords become indexed in Google. I remember you saying this quite some time ago, but didn't really understand it. This video helps to bridge that gap. Thanks!

@ExpandYourBiz Yes. We use a series of small improvements all the time. This is a little bit bigger, but still easy to implement and then it works for you 24/7

Great tip, Tom. I've been doing this as well. Another resource is Speakertext. They charge $2/minute and they have a plugin that you can add to a wordpress plug that adds the transcript to your videos posted on you blog. Pretty cool. ~ Denise Wakeman

@54Rayne Pretty much thousands of outsource freelancers. I pay .75 per recorded minute. So a two minute video costs me $1.50.

Great information, Tom. I had no idea. I noticed that a word or two were missing or scrambled. It seems like a good idea to have someone review the transcription and make corrections after Google has done it's thing. I assume that's possible.

@jocondrill System isn't perfect. You can always upload a new transcription if you see errors.
