The surgeon's photo was not proved to be a hoax. It was alleged to be a hoax. But there are too many unanswered questions for me to believe that a toy sub was used and a real respected surgeon went along with it.

Well, the surgeon's photo was decried as a hoax based on people coming forward and saying that it was a prank. Sad, but probably the case. The photo at 4:23 actually turned out to be a dog swimming with a stick in his mouth, it's blurry but you can make out the eyes and ears of the dog. But of all of the hoaxes, the "Muppet" photo at 2:49 is my favorite. It was purportedly taken when a psychic was brought to the Loch to summon Nessie, and this photo is what they got. I still hope though :-)

The surgeon's photo was a fake, he did it as a prank for a 'friend'...He did an interview about it on BBC a few years ago.

I don't know what to believe about the Lochness Creature.I still have faith in the Surgeon's photo because the explanation doesn't satisfy me, and I'm sure there are other people who may have made interesting discoveries.

Some photos can be disproven using computer technology. The reason people say the surgeons photo is fake is because the person who took it came out and confessed a couple decades ago. So thats why we all know its fake.

4:25 is actually a dog swimming back with a stick. In specific a labrador retriever. On the very right you can see its left ear and the left you can see its right ear. It is facing the camera and the long tailish looking part of the picture is the stick.

I know. That was the one I most believed to be real. It could be an elephant, because the humps would be the top of the head, and the 'head and neck' would be the trunk. I am unsure about the thing that looks like a tongue, but it's amazing what you can do on a computer these days. Then again, who knows?

AT 04m21s THATS NOT NESSIE its CHAMP the american cousin of nessie in Lake Champlain USA its a similar water creature, like a marine dinossaur or an amphibian monster but that photo i can guarentee its the American CHAMP not our Scottish NESSIE.

Maybe the camera wasn't good enough. Even if they are blurry, they are real photos. Besides there are two underwater photos that proves that she exist. And there prove that she is a Plesiosaur. One was a picture of a long fin that only Plesiosaur has. The other is a picture of a body, fin, long neck and head of a Plesiosaur.

here is some science

a plesiosaur is a repitle, according to witnesses and constant stories "nessie" moves really really fast almost all the time, it is also in the nature for a plesiosaur to move fast all the time. So if it moved fast constantly it would have to come up to BREATHE

at most once every 20 minutes. Also its wise to think there would be more than one "nessie" a colony, so then if there were more you would see "nessies" pop up to breathe all the time but its rare to see them

@CaptainBones Thank you! I remember when I saw this for the first time. I couldn't believe it! Along with this image, there was another image taken of a diamond shaped flipper. I believe there is a creature living in that lake. Just think, if there are creatures we haven't even discovered at the bottom of the ocean, then there is a possibility of a creature like nessie to be in the loch.
