Hey sherlock, take a look in episode 2 when they talk about the Borialis, theres a chart saying APERTURE. And theres a sign saying APERTURE on a metal peice attached to it, also Kliener mentions : APERTURE SCIENCE. Its common sence. You didint play, i understand. But if you did. You need some brains. Portal is in the half life world. Might not look like, but it is.

Thats not Half Life 2 thats portal. The Orange Box is a Disc with 5 Games on it and Portal and Half Life 2 are some of them.

Actually, Portal is directly connected to the Half-Life canon (in other words, it's part of the main HL story), and Aperture Science will likely be part of HL2:Episode 3. Besides the Black Mesa reference in the end song, the connection is also apparent in [SPOILER WARNING] the GLaDOS fight, she references the Combine in a few lines.

The portals look cooler in this than they do in the actual game, but that's probably because valve needed to distinguish between the two portals for when you shot them out (you try forever to get somewhere, shoot a portal there, jump down, shoot the right portal to drag and object through and the one you tried so hard to place disapears)

I think it's supposed to come out around the same time as Half-Life 2: Episode 2. If that's true, then this game, as well as Episode 2, will probably utilize DX10, but don't take my word for it. I think the Steam activation code for this game, as well as Episode 2 and Team Fortress 2, will be free with purchase of a Radeon HD 2900.
