I went to USI when Pearl was coach. He was great. Everyone loved him. I don't think it's out of the question for him to consider coaching IU. I understand that he's on top with the Vols but he will never be top dog at his own college. Women's basketball and football will always trump men's basketball in power and popularity at UT but at IU, the mens basketball program is and always been top priority. I think that's what a coach like Bruce Pearl would want. He'll succeed anywhere! JMO

He used to coach at D2 U. of Southern Indiana when I was at school. He was a guest referee for a 3 on 3 tournament. He was the most popular guy on campus even back then. I hope he considers IU now than Sampson is gone, but I doubt that will happen.
