  • Does this camera have rechargable batteries Jim ?

  • @Ggreenvideos NO, that was one of the deciding factors. It uses 2 ea AA batteries.

  • @Woodenarrows That's rite on! That's what I want! No rechargables :o)

  • That's awesome looking quality Have you found a good editor?

  • @Ggreenvideos see next (posting now) video :))

  • @Ggreenvideos Be sure to read the description box on this next test video

  • @Woodenarrows You bet Jim! Always do :o)

  • What class SDHC card are you using Jim I am reusing the two 8 g cards I had with my cannon and there class2 they say better to use class 6 or more plus I wont get but around 30 min per card on HD compared to 90 minutes I got on my cannon . Hopefully someone with more HD experience will chime In

  • @medicjimr I already had 3ea 4gb class 4 SD cards but I purchased an 8gb class 6 with the camera just because of the HD video thingy. My wife is using one my 4gb class 4 cards in her Canon EOS Rebel w/o any problems. I would definetly now use less than class 4, class 6 if you can. The 8gb class 6 card I just got was $19.96

  • @Woodenarrows Ok I am happy with quality so far may invest in class 6 later and some more batteries

  • @medicjimr If you haven't experienced any camera shutdowns or recording errors yet you will more than likley be fine with the chips you have. I see you have been using HD format so that should be a good test. The class numbers are the speed the chips can accept data (2 mbs, 4 mbs, 6 mbs) etc. Heavy data transfers require faster chip speeds.

  • @medicjimr the blank 8gb card I have shows 42' 09" record time for 1280x720 HD video and 88' 53" for 640x480 video

  • @medicjimr You'll need at least a class 6 to prevent any video stuttering (due to data writes) but i've used class 2 and class 4 in HD mode without problems. I think it depends on the card brand and quality. Right now im using SanDisk 4GB Class 10 and Panasonic 4GB Class 6 cards with this camera.

  • @DjWillis808 Thanks for the info will look into getting the higher class SD cards
