About 3 years ago, I found this AMV, then I looked up Trigun with a confused interest

After watching the entire show, I realized something

Despite how much is said about anime, how it's just a bunch of cutey, perverted, violent shows, this is the exception.

From the beginning, to the end, Trigun had humour, action, and a story worth caring about.

And it did it all without sexuality, gore, or cheap humour.

And nobody can disagree on that

Goofy as Vash maybe if you analyze his tactics just a little you'll see the awesomeness there in. They center around forcing the enemy to burn ammo on futile attacks. As well as closing with isolated foes in order to disable them without harming them. Neat huh?

@102mikegrau which cartoon? this one? i actually loved it, it had symbolism and philosphy in its later episodes and could be funny and serious at the same time. it had great animation and characters you could really feel for, it also had the feel of many clint eastwood films if your interested in this. overall it was great.

The only modern anime that really compares to classic animes like Trigun, is One Piece. IMO. Great Story, Great characters, and it doesn't drag at all even with almost 600 chapters under its belt already.

I've been brought up watching proper old anime like this not the modern stuff things like bleach and naruto they are both over rated, they can't even hold a candle to trigun and it teaches you life lessons aswell. So it's both Badass and Morally enhancing now only an amazing anime can do that. But unlike alot of new anime it also ended on a high note rather than draging it to hell, of course this is all my opinion. Anyway awesome AMV it really suits Vash and Trigun itself, Me likey. 21/10

There is really no topping Trigun. I like Bleach, but it should've ended 200 episodes ago, and about 300 chapters ago. Naruto is "ehhh." I never really liked it to begin with. What happened to the good ole days in 1998 when anime was at its best? It seems that today's shows are about overly mature adult-like children with more problems than the Columbine shooters yelling, bleeding, and dying(but never actually dying). Trigun told its story and ENDED. Seems shows today don't know how to do that

Trigun and Cowboy Bebop still remain as my favorite anime to this day, and if I may say, those two anime are the pinacle of badassery. I'm not so keen on any of the new stuff, and I agree with a few of you, that Naruto is VERY overrated.

This was an anime AND Manga that I think all would would agree set the bar, there is 1 thing that makes this series 100x better than bleach, its the thing that has been slowly dissapearig off of tv for god knows how long. VALUES, AND IMPORTNAT LIFE LESSONS. It was on Adult Swim, but I don't think they run it anymore... it's a very bad ass show, starts a little slow, and the hero (Vash) is a little bitch in the start but it all works out in the end. You should give it a try, you might like it a lot.
