I've been using the BW Ultimate for about a month now and it has been a delight. For people who like good response from their keys and like to type fast it is an awesome keyboard, the lighting is great as well.

@deathrow989 I'm thinking of buying this keyboard but I can't decide between this one and the SteelSeries 7G which also has a really nice wrist rest. I currently have a Logitech K800 which is illuminated AND wireless so it's nice but I tried out the 7G at Fry's and OMG, the mechanical keys just make typing awesome! Which one would you recommend?

@MahaVakyas Well I can't say I've tried out the 7G before but it looks like it wouldn't dissapoint, the wrist rest is the only area where I can think it will have an advantage over the Blackwidow, however keep in mind the Blackwidow ultimate also has backlighting which is quite handy, for me anyway and the macro options and software are pretty good. The blackwidow probably also wins over in the looks department in my opinion. Hopefully that helps

When i first started pc gaming i thought razer where the best but hell was i wrong. razer make tacky flimsy plastic with some blue led to top it off. I bought a roccat kone and a roccat sota the mouse pad was great better than my razer goliathus but the kone was just another razer broke after 5 months. I now have a Logitech g9x and its amazing doesn’t feel like cheap plastic. To sum up FUCK RAZER.

It's not creaky at all. It's a very solid device, and it uses mechanical keys. It doesn't use cheap plastic membranes.

I can say that the action on the keys is very smooth. Not too loud, but it is audible. Frankly, I love it, and enjoy using it as often as possible.

Don't buy this fucking crap, I guess razer's thinking they can no longer completely rip morons off by selling rubber dome keyboards for 100$, now that steelseries has gone mechanical. So they make a shitty mechanical and sell it for 130$. I checked their "mini site" for this keyboard and it's just a load of bullshit about how it's better than a "standard mechanical" and what a "competitive edge" it will give you... avoid this like the plague.

This Razer uses Cherry MX Blues as opposed to the Cherry MX Blacks uses in the Steelseries keyboards, which makes them better for general typing, but sometimes worse in games due to the tactile feedback rather than linear movement.

Is Razer bs-ing a little bit? Yes. Is it still a good keyboard? Yes.

my rubber dome just doesn't cut it for SC2...
