Machinima is a movie, show or short clip made with a recording software and a game, such as gmod and even halo. some games have inbuilt recording capabilities so they get alot of machinima. fraps is the most used software because it works on all pc games. if you want to do a console one you will need a capture card. i think that pretty much sums it up, and i hope you get into the wonderfull world of machinima!
