I wear 3D glasses with the lenses popped out of them all the time! It started last year as an inside joke with my group of friends since whilst STILL SEEING the movie, my friend dropped his glasses (don't ask me how, I still don't know) and a lense seriously broke. So he popped it out and still expected to see the movie just fine... So we popped our lenses out afterward and just wore them around everywhere. I didn't think anyone else did that. ;D
