  • Looks pretty good my friend. Your car seems great, and your engine setup is just awesome! Keep up the practice. I hope to see some track time this coming spring and summer, then I'll be able to see if I've improved.

  • dumb car dude

  • rhd looks so much easier

  • Awesome vids man I've watched a few of them. I've got a R32 GTS-t and I'd love to take it to track days, but I'm too scared I'll stack it! Maybe when it gets a bit older and I don't care too much about it I'll take it for a thrash! Looks like awesome fun!

  • Im gonna start savin' now

  • I would scrape thiz dude and I'm 16///_^//

  • @707BLACKDEVIL707

    ahahaha

  • @707BLACKDEVIL707 ..lol.. same here and im only 15...

  • @IDriftBetter Do u do it for fun or street drift i do both i wish someday i can b a formula-D pro

  • @707BLACKDEVIL707

Dude you could even drive a car let alone reach the fucking pedal, Just shut your trap and go play a game or something

  • what part of australia is this in

  • 2:13 E30 YES! Drift fail though

  • how is that shimmed vlsd holding up?

ive been thinking about shimming mines to help it lock up

  • @dagger58

ive sinced locked it up properly with more shims, hasnt opened yet

  • @LowellTyler1

    mallala

  • @LowellTyler1

    $150 a day

  • Stock handbrake or hydraulic?

  • so w8, i dont drive a car yet but i was always wondering if drifting an entire track (corners only offcourse) is faster then just racing thru the track (like on formula one)

  • @bigbangAT

generally no, but technically it is possible, but very impractical. sports like off-road rally and flat track racing etc

  • @bigbangAT if you have a car with enough HP to drift, then drifting might be faster, but you would have to drift so little and at a high speed. and if the racing through the track should be done WITHOUT any oversteer and using same drifting tires and traction control off, then drifting would be faster. think about this, nascar drivers avoid drifting, but the people in sprint cars constantly drift on the corners, because, of the amount of traction.

  • lmfao!!! 2:13

  • the pros make it look easy ay:) good efforts this must b so fun!

  • hey man looks pretty good and looks like a LOT of fun...

im a little out of season and its tough to judge distance on video but the corner you were feint drifting that you seemed to be spinning on seemed like your feint was a little early to me... you only need a quick dab of h-brake and if your braking into your transition in the feint you might just be able to power over early and ballance the car with the throttle out... then again my stang rolls a lot more...

    Nice drift session...

  • Good video man nice drifting nice car i'm gonna get a Nissan Sil80 it's a 180sx with a silvia front on it ohh yes! and then i'm gonna drift! now firstly i have to wait to get my l's bahaha and a job lol

  • @inertiaMS Im thinking of saving up 2 im 14 how much was ur nissan?

  • @NZRAMBO20

mine was 12k, but i bought it about 6 years ago, they are much cheaper now.

  • @samobst

    lol.... *shakes head*

  • ei zé, baixo o freio de mão. tem q tá com o motor xei pra continuar com torque auto e continuar o drift, por isso rodo direto

    e sempre no memso erro...

  • I love it. Keep up the good work.

  • FUCK THIS LOOKS LIKE FUN! WHERE IS THIS AND HOW DO I GET IN?

  • well know anything in queensland?

    south east preferably,

  • nice work! keep at it!

  • Nice man. keep practicing and you'll get better. Practice makes better, never perfect. Just practice your throttle control, I noticed that you over powered it in a couple corners. I need practice too lol. I wish there was still a track here in hawaii =,=. Atleast you have a track and a school (which is awesome) xD. Aim for the stars man.

  • Wow, great drifting! I'll be able to do this one day! ha

  • hahahahaaa

  • ur jokin rite?

  • its at mallala

  • just wonderin.. is that track in england?

  • South Australia

  • how much u spend on tires?

  • How well does shimming the vlsd work? Want to try it on my s13

  • not heaps well, but better than nothing.

  • hey man your really good!! guess that drift school is paying off huh?

    keep it up!

  • haha tbh i dont think the drift school helped me at all, its more suited for guys with less experience.

  • How much does that cost?? Per day or something? for the track I mean :) Thanks!!

  • drift school costs $150 i think, not sure how much itis to hire out the track.

  • k thanks (:

  • Aw man that looks like a blast!

  • You fucking rock!

  • haha cheers mate

  • alright man thanks for the advise.

hope u get hella better so u can teach beginers like us

  • no probs ;)

  • yeah i got some pretty good sway bars already, they are welded in the car, they were really cheap by the way, got that shit made and welded on the car in mexico.

how much money do u think i could spend on everything?

  • welded in? u sure ur not talking about bracing?

sway bars are attatched to the suspension and chassis with bushes, links and ubrackets.

couldnt tell u what ud spend, better off going on one of the forums where they deal with these cars.

  • thanks man and another thing, cause i was thinking of getting the coilovers for my car which should i choose?

i dont really know about suspension so would apreciate it!

  • go something bilstein, ive seen a MX-5 Clubman with the standard bilstein suspension package drift quite well by one of australia's best drifter (leighton fine)

u dont need to go premade coilover packages, a good coil and shock replacement will often be as good if not better. also sway bars(anti-roll bars), they will make a world of difference, make sure u get something adjustable.

  • hey man, i saw your vid and that shit is sweet, i would love to start drifting but i dont have any advice about what to upgrade and stuff.

i drive a mazda miata myself and what can i do to make it a drift machine?

  • cheers man. with the miata (MX-5's over here) id just upgrade the diff to a mechanical LSD, 1.5 or 2 way. then upgrade the suspension, some stiffer sway bars and some aftermarket coils and dampers.

then just practice, having less power will help u build a more solid technique, it may take u a bit longer to link corners or whatever, but in the long run ull be a better driver.

  • hi what sort of hp do you have cheerss

  • we dont measure in HP here, but as mentioned in the description, im running 180kw at the rear wheels, which is probably around 250hp at the rear wheels or a bit under 300hp at the engine.

  • that relaly looks fun man.how long did it take u to get that good?

  • hey mate, been drifting at the track for almost 2 years, although had a break for it when i broke my foot for about half a year.

  • i wanna get into drifting but it looks really expensive lol, how much have u spent on your car?like tires and stuff lol

  • its not cheap, but no motorsport is.

tyres completely depend, some of the top drivers go through a few sets of $400ea tyres a competition, some just chuck scraps on the back. entry level tyres are around AU$130ea new, and should last u 1 or 2 meets on the rear depending on power and handbrake usage.

  • do the ebrake technic make engine problems?

btw. great videos you have. i've watched them all :)

  • cheers, handbrake doesnt effect the engine as long as u clutch it.

  • very smooth, you seem calm and relaxed unlike a lot of other people.

One thing i'll mention though is that you usually pull the e-brake just a bit early. But i still haven't seen your other vids, i'll give 'em a looksies :)

  • yeh handbrake is an issue, hoping to have it sorted by next comp. currently im running standard shoes/pads for the hb, so it doesnt like to lock up, i even have trouble with it locking when im fully sideways.

i will be ordering the URAS drift shoes which will hopefully allow me to be able to use the handbrake properly.

  • that should help out

i would also get a drift knob if you haven't already, just a cheap $20 that'll make a little less hassle

  • yeh drift button is on the list, but i dont have any issues using the current button manually so its not a massive issue.

  • yeah its just one of those little helpers, no worries about not putting it back all the way down

  • handbrake is a useful tool to wipe off speed and maintain angle, im pretty happy with the amount im using it now, unfortunately i have to use it a bit more as its not working very well atm.

  • lookin good m8, if u didnt hit the hand brake so much, u'd be doing well :), always seemed to hit it abit early, and for too long.

But keep up with the practice and you'll be awesome in no time :P

  • Looking good! What sorta camera mount have you got?

  • hey mate, i use a manfrotto F1000 suction cup mount.

  • nice vid, gona add to my collection !

  • hey, after watching all your video's you really have improved heaps, less and less handbrake every video, top work. Shame about your first spin, that may havde been a great bit of tandem footage haha.

  • cheers mate, yeh first run would have been great, just havent had enough time tandeming yet and get too caught up on what the person in front is doing and not what im doing.

  • haha it has a 4age, coilovers up front, trd shocks rear, trd LSD. not that special but works pretty good, was my first time driving it and first time at lala so things didnt always go to plan lol was good fun tho, cant wait till next one

  • haha nice, get some bigger sway bars in there and she should be schweet.

  • sweet, nice driving mate, saw you do a few runs your quite good.

spotted me in the beige ke around 2:10, sorry for ruining your entry to the staight :P

  • thanks mate, yeh no probs, wasnt a great run for me anyway haha.

doing well for what looked pretty stamdard KE, whats it had done to it?

  • you're getting alot better mate ;)

  • cheers mate
