@Lifty4ever There are usually two engines if there are two coaches and two sleepers. If there is one coach and one sleeper there is one engine. In the fall there are wet leaves on the track and with no freights to clear them off there are major traction problems so two engines are used regardless.  There was a shortage of VIA F40's so this unit was leased. The line hugs the coast or runs through wooded areas most of the way.

I'm sorry but I'm from PEI and back home now so I wouldn't be able to do it myself until the spring. If you give me your name I could see if my grandparents remember where your house was and send a picture of it to you. Everyone knows everyone in New Carlisle and my grandparents had nine kids so I'm sure they know your family somehow.
