And Lynn Hamilton only played 2 characters on the show: She played a bit part as a landlady in 1 early episode & made such a impression that they brought her back 1 month later 2 debut as recurring character Donna. Lynn Hamilton has appeared on almost 50 different TV shows, from Gunsmoke 2 The Waltons 2 Knight Rider 2 The Golden Girls 2 The Practice 2 Cold Case. Great actress.

I applaude you and the younger generation for appreciating "good old shows" whether it is S&S or All In the Family. Norman Lear (the Exec. Producer of both shows) is the man for putting out both of these shows as well as Good Times. Nowadays TV comedy sitcoms are touch and go.
