Japanese bikes are of course good except kawasaki budget but so are bmw. and as for india see what tata just did with jaguar and land rover in uk (cars but still) and also austrian ktm's new duke is made in india. india is a massive market for bikes itself. should watch that space. also i'm looking to buy a hyosung which is korean and none of my friends have heard of them but they have decent bikes

I've been drooling over a chopper bike, but only if it has a metric engine in it. Having owned a Harley before and spent more time fixing it then riding it...I'll take the reliability of a Honda. Now, I'm drooling over this Fury...with a metric engine. Now...only if an after-market firm would make a slick 5 gallon gas tank...that would be perfect.

if you saw this bike, and didnt know that it was a production bike, you would immediatley call it a chopper. by definition it is not.. by the general populations definition (what they see on tv) it certianly is. if you go and buy it, its not a chopper either, and that includes east cost customs/ OCC or any other shop.. a real chopper is something you bought and customized yourself.. its a great looking ride. and it definatley accomplishes getting the chopper LOOK that honda was going for.

my brand new 07 shadow made it 13 miles from the dealer before the radiator hose popped. Next day the front tire was flat. Honda said i had a "pourous rim" and that it was not covered by warranty. The following month the drive shaft seal went out. Ill never buy another fucking honda again. Lets not mention the ridiculous lack of power. It was an 1100. Sounded like shit and had no balls. Worst bike ever made.

i dont know about that. Real choppers are bikes that are cut up. the width of the back tire doesnt make it a chopper really. But you can not go to a dealer and BUY a new chopper.... (Big Dog, Iron Horse,) all cookie cutter bikes.

i agree but some of the draw behind them is how they are similar to low riders... and the back tire is part of the look... choppers have to be made the custom way.. no way to buy em unless your buying from a custom chopper shop

The Yamaha/Star Raider is better looking and more powerful and every rider review says it's an awesome ride. The only thing Honda really has going for it in competing with the Raider is the Honda name but Yamaha is certainly no slouch on quality. The Fury will beat the shit out of the Harley Rocker in sales though no doubt.
