  • Do they only write in 3D ? Cant you use plain 2D 1080p and if so how well do they do in that ?

  • @NikKast1981I don't understand your question. It records in both 3d and 2d....best outdoors in good light.

  • @MY3D4U2C

simple : SONY 3D Bloggie shoot the best 3d quality ! just take mine today , very happy with , sony 3d bloggie it best quality of all cheap price 3d camcorder today december 2011. , i compared several 3d camcorder today in the market .

  • @MY3D4U2C That was my question actually....I am thinking on getting a small camera like this one (FullHD) for normal recording, nothing fancy and certainly not 3D.

  • @VicentiuB I don't understand your question. It records in both 3d and 2d....best outdoors in good light.

  • thanks for taking the time to make this awesome tuturial

    sony wins this one

    cheers from canada

  • The Sony Bloggie 3D rocks during the day. I haven't seen my footage on a real 3D screen. Only with red/cyan glasses --- which isn't as fun. Hopefully 3D will catch on!

  • @3DCatnip

just take the new Media Player with a big 8 inch 3D free glasses : model Gadmei P83 for 170$ i will put on it all my shooted Sony bloggie 3d videos and have fun 3d witout glasses ! wtf red-cyan glasses or active 3d glasses or passive 3d glasses , better 3d free glasses !

  • I viewed your video on my iPod Touch the screen is very small so crossing your eyes is very easy to get the 3d effect. So far my eyes do not hurt. However on my laptop bigger screen crossing your eyes does hurt.

  • excellent job.... thanks

  • good test but: at the end-with sony bloggie- you changed width and images(from left to right).....

  • If you record in 3D with the Bloggie, can you convert it to 2D later on so non-3D glasses owners can watch the videos as well?

  • @PlatypusxOuroboros yes. it comes with software that will do that for you. It will also convert images into 2D. The camera does have the option to take 2D stills and images

  • @PlatypusxOuroboros click on the 3d button and then click no 3d and then it plays as normal

  • it looks very good - amazing - the Aiptek does well on the illusion of depth. At Amazon there's a pre-order for an Aiptek DDD21X which touts 10 (or 12) MP - have you heard anything about it?

  • @gnativerson I will purchase the Aiptek DDD21x when it comes out. Unfortunatly, there is no reviews for that camera at this time.

  • @MY3D4U2C - thanks for the reply - I ordered a W3 as a gift - did you find the Aiptek to make good 3D stills without the rough aliasing effect seen in some videos?

  • @gnativerson yes. actually the still images were better than the bloggie 3D but the video really couldn't compare better

  • @MY3D4U2C - thanks - I might pick up the Aiptek just for stills - there's not much around my house that moves :^) - I am really curious about the DDD21x (or Di2 if that's what it will be called - if its marketed in the US)

  • Thanks for the review, I am considering buying the Bloggy 3D for my Japan trip, the price/quality seems very good.
