Desmosedici sounds like a yamaha 80cc but the difference is:

Yamaha 0-100 = 1 hour

Desmosedici 0-100 = under 3 sec

Yamaha top speed = 80km (100km downhill)

Desmosedici top speed = over 300km uphill

@turnip2001 Those chicken strips are pretty respectable for not doing track days. They represent spirited riding while staying within a certain 75K security envelope.

If he had those after a track day, I would say he couldn't ride.

Just putting around town does not warm your tires enough to be able to count on them at extreme lean angles. Sure, there are guys who roast the sides off in street conditions, but they are relatively few and do so at their own peril.
