ha ha! my first keyboard, and i still have it. My mom bought it for me in 85 or 86 I think. I always new it had potential for a remarkable mod and you did it! well done
hey PHONICPOTION, I bought one of these (unmodded of course) on the cheap, and one of the little red capactior things on the inside is blown up and corroded (hence it doesnt work)... Do you have any idea what little part from radioshack i would need to buy and sauder on to fix it? i can draw you a diagram of where it is, or if you have a diagram i could show you which one. Thanks for your time.
Thankyou, we have an MT-68 up for sale on ebay, just follow the URL link on our main Youtube page, there is a full description of the mods there and some detailed photographs that you may be interested in seeing.
Just open the case and get inside with a set of crocodile clips, once you find a sound or mod you like then just soder wires in place and fir either a switch or pot to the end and then drill holes in the case. Arron
Thankyou for the comment on our machines, we tend not to sample them as we have so much studio equipment here at the moment and plan to build some of our best selling machines to keep for ourselves and fit midi.
We sell all of our machines that have been modified, we have just finished an MT-65 which is the same unit but in white, we will be listing it on eBay on Friday night. We do not take on commission work at the moment.
I love these bent MT machines you've been putting out recently. Haven't had a mess about in one myself but the stuff you're doing with them is very cool. :)
it's so funny how that simple pattern can make me feel happy.

You can control the individual drums sounds? That's nuts! I just got a CASITONE MT-70 and would love to make some similar mods. How did you do this?
