Diablo 2 is one of the greatest games ever made. It's free online and still going pretty strong considering it was released in June of 2000. Diablo 3 will be coming out soon, so just wait for that. If you want a good feel for the series though, buy the Battle Chest. It isn't that expensive.

hey man! is this a Blizzard or an Orb mf sorc? also full tal rasha set isn't the best for magic find.. you should definitely be wearing that shako and trade your enigma for an oculus (+50%mf) or just find a gull dagger (100% mf) theyre everywhere also put perfect topaz's in your shako, tal rasha armor, and shield theres a quest to make them socketable and theyre like 24%mf each topaz. good luck!!

@Vomtu100 When you finish the game you put it in your horadric cube with a tome of town portal. Make sure you are in the ROGUE ENCAMPMENT (IMPORTANT!!!!)!!! When you press transmute a red portal will open leading to the Secret Cow level.

So I bought the Battle Chest: Diablo 2...I'm a huge fan of WoW, so I thought I would enjoy D2. I'm so confused its not funny. I get lost in the caves, I'm not sure where to go, etc....Is there a questhelper for D2? Am I doing something wrong? Please help.

@drumbasher @drumbasher Hey there. I haven't played D2 in about 2 or 3 years, but I used to play it a lot back in the days, so I believe I might be able to help you. First of all, I've never used any helpers/addons like you can do in WoW, so if you want to know where to go or where a quest is, you must read the quest log. The quests will always be like "find diablo in the Devil's Nest and kill him", so you have to first find the place called Devil's Nest and then find Diablo in it

@drumbasher thats pretty much how you find your quests, you'll have to walk to the certain area the quests says (the game is quite linear, you'll rarely go to the wrong way). In caves, the same thing must be done, you must enter the cave with the same name that is written in the quest. As of skills and classes, i highly advise to start either with a Sorcerer or a Barbarian, i have found those 2 to be the easiest and most fun to start with.

@drumbasher If you want to learn how to play, try playing the game first in single-player and get to level 30 or so, then you go and play on Bnet, because on SG the itens won't be too good and you'll start to suffer a lot in bosses and stuff. I'm thinking of re-installing my D2 and if I do so, I'll be glad to help you in it. In my opinion, D2 is way better than WoW, it's a lot tougher, but at the same time it's better in almost every way.

@drumbasher At first try playing the game for fun, getting good itens is not easy. I might have played diablo for over two years or so and still I can't make very good characters. But if I had to choose a game as my all time best PC game, it would have to be D2, the game is simple but at the simple time, very deep when it comes to being good at it. If you go to Bnet play on US East, it has most players nowadays. I hope I helped you a bit and sorry if my writting is not that good, I'm from Brazil

As a new player to Diablo, I didn't find the video too useful. You say it's made for complete beginners, but you dive into finding certain items not immediately available to starting characters. I did find success with the sorceress though :D

@Bothlonor i haven't played in years but paladins (with blessed hammer) are very good player vs monster characters and make great beginning characters with the insight runeowrd on an act 2 merc. They are also very useful if you play with friends who use melee of any kind. (A high lvl hammerdin has about lvl 40 concentration). They also rape virtually everything, as almost nothing is immune to magic.

this game is fucked up as you can make as much gold as you want -.- if you put a potion (any potion of hp or mp healing) and click on that little heart icon you will make a super potion from it which you can sell for 30x the gold that you wasted on that one potion then sell those super potions buy some shity potions again make super potions sell them etc so its FUCKED UP and gets boring after 2 or 3 days of gameplay
