The information being taught does not necessarily mean that the schools are advocating gay marriage, they are just enriching their knowledge. It's just as if they were teaching a history class, we are not advocating beliefs of certain parties (i.e communism), but you can choose whether or not to accept or believe those ideas/beliefs.
That lesbian wedding was a school feild trip to a teacher's wedding. The teacher is now happily married to her wife. Given that is was an early homosexual marriage, it was hostorically significant. Also, as a feild trip, parents had to give their children permission to attend. They did so. Only two parents denied their children permission. What's the issue if the parents gave consent?
