I remember this movie... The baboon-lizards were awesome, I'd say right on par with the Future Predators from Primeval. but I didn't really like the other creatures in this film. Especially the giant bats.
Salmon Moose, if i was you i would be ashamed to associate myself with that movie... Comes close to the worst movie i have ever seen... The crappy CGI just capped it off...
@blotsafun well that logic is just down right stupid. Do you see every movie critics making movies before they start calling other movies shitty? It's an opinion. Someone's opinion doesn't have to be based off of the fact that he can't do something as well as the next guy. I thought this was pretty cool, but he might not have. That's his opinion. He might just be a troll, but I'm mainly focusing on your flawed argument here.
@peterfinnfilms Oh, in that case I'm with you. Next time you might want to say "so bad it's great" or "popcorn entertainment" to avoid confusion. Misunderstandings can get pretty nasty on the internet...
Sorry if this sounds like a bit of a beginner question, but I've never done 3D modeling before and I wanted to ask, does skin deformation and muscle rigging mean the same thing?
No, we develop and use Absolute Character tools which simulates muscles and their interaction with skin. Muscle TK is more of a 'bendy bone' solution.

What I mean is that it's not a very high-quality movie, but it's fun nonetheless.

looks like the description from the book "The Relic" of the Mbwun a.k.a Kathoga. Ironically another underrated Peter Hyams flick.
