What a shame it does not work with REAL D, many of us will own REAL D glasses this summer due to all the new movies being released in REAL D. Only a handful of people have the 80s colored glasses for this to work.

Of course it doesn't work with real D glasses, you'd need a 3d monitor for polarized glasses like the real D ones to work, your 2d monitor won't cut it.

Not everyone can control their convergence muscle. Not everyone, that can control their convergence muscle, can cross or straighten their eyes at will(probably one direction only). A simple hand made tool consist of a paper (or anything else) with a hole in the centre can make the cross eyed 3D view appeared to be normal object that can be viewed naturally without practice and without initial eye strain to separate the images of the two eyes.

3D image in cross eye mode is REAL. All you need is to cover up the redundant views for corresponding eyes , e.g. by opague area outside rectangular opening in paper card. Your brain will automatically do the convergence ("cross eye") for you when you look at opening area (for 15" monitor full screen, it is approx. 40mm wide x 60mm high).

if you were to scroll through the comments, I'm sure you would find some useful information. for me, the best method is to cross my eyes by looking at the blank space inside the triangle formed by my thumbs and index fingers. that way you can adjust for the right focal point by simply moving your hands

I got confused the difinition of YouTube HD. I found HD video window is 853x480 in browser for re-encorded 1280x720 file based on higher resolution original 16:9 clip and also there are several resolution version for downloadable re-encoded files , such as 920x720 (Max so far, I found) to 480x360 depending upon original non 16:9 format clip resolution. Anyway, I think YouTube 3D is excellent stereoscopic viewer as is now and will be improved soon.

hi true you should uplaod your videos in 1920x2160 to have the best experience so put the stereo HD view next to each other

2 x 1080p and encode that in a true resolution h264 picture to have the best encoder input. the stereoscopic multiplexer here is so cool I just knew software for windows which was doing the whole thing with open GL in my gfx card. so nice so fast so damn brilliant youtube

no it did... i don't think it meant to do it like that specifically, there are probably glasses for that purpose. i can do it that way... it takes a little practice but you can get it eventually.
