    because poised underneath

    readying its teeth

  • That is both awesome and incredibly horrible. Also, I can never go to the beach agian.

  • @ohheysarahc They are extremely rare and very seldom encountered. Relax. :-)

  • It's a god damn Lurker.

  • 1:02 aw, now it's gonna get sand in its food

  • =O how they breath

  • After seein this I kno why they call it sicarius because thats the latin word for assassin

  • Just need to research tunneling claws now and then they'll be really deadly.

  • BURROW MUTATION COMPLETE

  • imagine a spider that is big enough to hunt animals lol!

  • I've read this spiders venom is incredibly hemotoxic. I also read that there are only two suspected bites on record and they resulted in death and an arm amputation.

  • The way it buries itself is pretty damn cute

  • if spiders were big enough to hunt human we would be sooooooooooooooooooo fucked..... Q.Q ( thumb up if u agree )

  • THATS AWSOME! mofo buries hiself.. wtf? smart spider..

  • dangerous and venomous are two different factors. also: venomous and poinsonous are two different things. venom is dangerous to the bloodstream, poison is dangerous when ingested; on another note, this spider lives in the middle of an african desert, a secluded area, and is very shy and hidden away. on the other hand, the brazilian wandering spider is super agressive, deadly venom, and in popular areas around people, therefore it is considered the most 'deadly' (hence people often die from it.)

  • Hehe, awesome

  • spiders are just like trolls, dont feed em!!!

  • what a pro

  • haha the prey in the second attack clip was like LULZ I WONDER WHUT JUST TRIED TO EAT ME, LET'S GO LOOL TROLOLOOL

  • I've heard these can go a year without food. How do you know/when do you feed it?

  • @FATHOMABLE77 indeed i was

  • Fuck dude, thats like the fastest spider ever... its got like the Flash's genes within it, and its also got the Master Of Disguise (Dana Carvey) genes in it... i like how when it eats too it digs under, and i LOVED how the cricket was dumb enough to jump out of the way, then walk back over to check it out......... nice... i know its a bug... but still...

  • Why encage them and act as if there your pet this is a form of cruelty. Though you may be like hes my pet or what ever remeber you took him/her from the enviorment. Meaning you realy do not know the value of life, This is what makes you corrupt of heart

  • 0:45 lol spider fail, grasshopper lunch win

  • wow that second cricket is smart.

  • so awesome!!!

  • the Namibian version of this snake is probably the most poisonous spider in the world.

  • @Lardinho78 Sicarius Hahni?

  • it looks to me as a spider that usually live in deserts...if it is a yellow sand spider that lives near the coast then yeap this is the 3rd most venomous spider in the world..2nd is the sydney funnel web 1st the phoneutria nigriventer.

  • LOL

0:45 the spider is in shock because he thought he was back home.

Nah, your still in the plastic tub. Ha

  • that cricket was stupid it almost got killed then it walks back into its death wow stupid

  • spider would be nothing without legs

crab would be nothing without claws

we would be nothing without a brain.

  • and goats would be nothing without laser beams

  • @toktokk666

    you mean.. ..wtf?

  • yes that's right, LASER BEAMS!

  • @toktokk666

    wat r u nuts?!?

  • wut

  • couldnt agree more

  • lololololo

  • cricket walks by FUCKEN CHOMP

  • holy crap....:o!

  • This spider could be the new form of Russian rulette, simply let one of the spiders burrow, then get someone to poke randomly in the sand :P

  • murderer or assasin ,sicarius hahni.Only ever 2 suspected bites from this species 1 incident resulted in amputation of a limb the other case the person died from massive hemorraging internal bleeding, total destruction of major organs.

  • yeah the hahnii venom is massively destructive, causes necrotic lesions similar to recluse bites but on a more elevated level i believe

  • this is the most toxic spider in the world !! thank god is shy and not found around people!

  • if ur not bitten in a limb, and are bitten in the stomache or something, your dead. easily put.

  • if this spider bites you , you will die !! its deadly

  • that was wicked

  • Holy shit this is beast.

  • dayum! o_0

  • are these posinous cose i think i just got bitten by one and im really nervous

  • I doubt you were bitten by one. They are found only in the deserts of southern Africa. Though the bite seems to have affected your spelling.

  • @SirStoneyOfBow Animals can be moved one from country to another.

  • @MickeyLove01 But still... unlikely.

  • @SirStoneyOfBow The spider featured here is not in Africa. Surely this is a good example of how it could happen?

  • @SirStoneyOfBow The janitor?

  • @MickeyLove01 Hahaha! It could only be, or a monkey they are teaching the read and write.

  • is it true these are the most venemous spider?? im not sure people say brown recluse , banana spider or this . help plz! ty

  • I think Funnel spiders are the most dangerous ones.

  • Yes, and that's because the Funnel Webs are highly aggressive, and always bite, these will only bite if you really try to kill them.

  • No. The spider in this video is the most dangerous spider in existence. Funnel webs don't even come close.

  • very close funnel webs are second 1st is brazilian wandering spider

  • This is in fact the most poisonous spider to human beings. However the odds of ever being bitten by one are astronomically low. There is no anti venom for this spider and it's venom acts like an acid of sorts destroying cell structure in the body. If you're bit pretty much the only cure is immediate amputation of the limb bitten.

  • what about sydney funnel-webs???

  • i been looking for cool spiders this one so far is the best. i think spiderman should use this trick. only if could bury myself that fast, is that real time

  • i would hate to live in the insect world

  • 0:22 lol that was awesome!!

  • Don't let your guard down. Don't let them get you. They're everywhere but the resistance lives on. SPIDERS WE WILL DEFEAT YOU!

  • ahh i know i hate them little buggers there like everywhere

  • There are no confirmed bites in man, and only two suspected ones. However, in one of these cases, the victim lost an arm to massive necrosis, and in the other, the victim died of massive hemorrhaging, similar to the effects of a rattlesnake bite. Its venom has been analyzed and tested on rabbits. The rabbit tests produced extremely severe tissue damage, and eventually death. Thus, the current scientific opinion on the matter is that S. hahnii may well be the most venomous spider in the world.

  • actually there is A confirmed bite, lol one that is recorded ,but it should be noted that most the ppl who prolly got bit are out in the desert and die of a multitude of reasons ontop of the venom, heat, sun, dehydration , lack of healthcare, many many reasons stack this to be an untrackable killing range

  • intelligence isnt something to be ashamed of , but your lack of intellect is something to truely be ashamed of sorry loser , you fail

  • @phaloxxx Idiot.

  • @phaloxxx Looking at your channel you apparently fancy yourself an intellectual? What a disappointment.

  • The one with no life is the one who does not know.

  • this is one of THE MOST poisonous spider in the world causing severe necrosis i think....

but i still wanna keep him XD

  • venomous.... its only poisonous if you eat it venomous if you get bitten or injected... sorry but that drives me crazy... and BTW I HATE SPIDERS... where are these located so i know never to go there... TY

  • Mainly parts of Africa

  • You sir, are (were) wrong. All spiders are venomous. They use their venom to kill/immobilize their prey. Some species of spiders venom is toxic to humans. This is what we call poisonous. Get your facts straight.

  • Not necessarily. Spiders from the suborder mesothelae (72 ish species) and the family Uloboridae are not venomous. Only a few species compared to the 37000ish species of spiders.

  • You sir, are wrong. There is not one species of spider or arachnid on the earth that is poisonous. Spiders inject their venom, therefore they are venomous.

  • LMFAO the second spider runs into the fucking wall!!!!!!He was probably thinking "shit that cricket must think im a dumb ass"

  • here's a word to all the idiots who say "this is cool"

    "this spider is awesome"

    "i want one"

and all that gay stuff, a bite from it will definitely make you handicapped. I worked in the Middle East & i've seen a few cases which the medics referred to as the "sand spider bite"

  • actually this spider is very interesting and i would love to own one if i didn't own a cat, i have 153 iq so im not stupid, its all in the owner, and more to the point, no one should be owning any spiders as pets, or scorpions for that matter , deadly or not....there arachnids and should be wild as they are intended, the fact is with this one, itd be an easy pet to own if you didnt try and pet it....dont give any spider the chance to bite you and its a good pet though...DUR...seriously though...

  • you just sauced him :)

  • I want one...

  • that spider is amazing

  • lmfao at 0:55

basically commits suicide after a near deatch experience

  • death***

  • that is the coolest spider EVER!!!!

  • hahaha absolutely cool

if my parents didn't freak out with spiders and related stuff i would like to have some

it's very cute (and awesome) how they literally do a faceplant and then bury themselves very fast.

    amazing.

  • o.O! Awesome!

  • hey what substrate is that your using.. Ive a few of those on the way and that looks alot easier for them to hide in than sand.. is that a coir mix?? Thanks!!

  • Wow. Great video of Sicarius hahni in action. Venom toxicity of this species has still not been researched very well. As far as I know there is still not one documented case of human envenomation. This species is very docile and far more likely to retreat than to bite. Professor Binford is doing some great work.

  • A.K.A. "Hahn's Assassin," supposedly has the most lethal venom in the world. These guys are not to be fucked with.

  • i have a question do these spiders live in sand in a beach if so i will be scared to go to the bech nowa days

  • that's one cool hiding trick.. what an awesome little spider!

  • you dont want to run acrose one of those

  • Really cool spiders.

    I have some of those.

  • i want one of those

  • hella cool

  • It's come to my understanding that the venom of this species is particularly potent more so then even nigerventer.

  • That is a amazing spider:)

  • AMAZING

  • These things make Chilean recluses look like pansies. Reputed to have the deadliest necrotic venom in the animal kingdom.

  • OMFG xD I would not have 1 like that as a pet ... That would be suicide

  • awesome spider, how cool, vote 5 stars

  • Nice Nice very good vid of cool sand spider Gratz for vid!

  • that is so cool

  • wow pretty cool but definetly not he most deadly spider

  • could be definetly close

  • Wrong.

  • awsome 5 stars

  • Wow! How on Earth did you get that thing into the states?

(In college for Arachnology to become a FR, I've never seen one in action. Wow!)
