This film is a piece of shit because it tries to justify the robbery of this crooks on the average americans by presenting the managers of the big 6 IBs with a humanistic point of view as like if you were in their shoes you would act the same way as they did. But let me tell you something, that is false. If you want a movie that explains you why we are really in this shit you sould see the documentaries "Inside Job" and "Money Masters" they explain it quite clear why this people are thiefs.
@TheDaxindex I didn't see the film in that way at all (presenting the managers with a humanistic look). In fact, if anything the film clearly delivers the message of the cold bastards. Yes, Kevin Spacey did play a more likable role, but in the end he didn't do anything about it either, making him just as bad as the others. Most people WOULDN'T do what they did (if they have any sense of morals), which is the point of the film: to show what went wrong, in an "inside look" fashion. The actors did
@TheDaxindex a phenomenal job in respect to their acting regardless, which is actually why I'm replying to your post. Perhaps you view the theme of the movie in a certain way, but that does not mean the entire movie is "shit". It's how the horrible acts of fraud (or anything, really) were portrayed that makes a good film. Everyone in the audience KNOWS what the characters have done is terrible, but it is interesting none the less to watch in this POV. The actors all did a fantastic job of that.

Oh my. Paul Bettany in glasses. Catch him doing a Sudoku/Crossword and it's a trifecta of hot.
