Chia fresca receipe. Put 4 heaping tbs. into a large Blendtec blender carafe. I then add 4 cups of filtered water. 10 drops of liquid vanilla stevia, a few sprigs of fresh mint leaves, 1 peeled & seeded organic lemon. I then low speed blend the mixture for a couple of minutes and let it sit for 15 minutes or longer for the chia to turn into a gel. I then high speed blend until smooth. Tastes great is very hydrating. Stevia has a 0 glycemic index. Too much stevia will add a bitter after-taste.
I soak 1 part chia seeds to 10 part water & a little sugar & few drops of rose water (or any juice) and store it in a glass jar in refrigerator. they expand and becomes like jelly texture kind of like BOBA asian drink then shake it well & drink cup a day. All the seeds slip thru, you don’t even feel them. That’s the best way to get good amount of it for your health.
The ideal ratio of fatty acids omega 3 to omega 6 lies in between 1:2 and 1:4.
Hemp is the perfect source of both essential fatty acids (omega 3,6, & 9;1:3 ratio) and a complete protein source with about 10 g per 2-3 tbsp.
Hemp products, nutritionally speaking, would replace every single animal-based product with a better supply of every conceivable nutrient (protein-fat-fiber-carb-mineral) without saturated fat or cholesterol or pesticide. It supports the endocannabinoid system, too.
"Western" diet is the primary contributor to "Western" diseases.
In other words, primarily animal-based (meats, eggs, fish, dairy) highly processed diets, high in fat (sat., trans., hydrogenated) and sugar (sodas, candy, snacks), and low in fiber, nutrients, and anti-oxidants cause wide-scale cardiovasculature (circulatory) and metabolic problems, which in turn can harm multiple-body systems (nervous, immune, digestive, etc...).
This diet low in omega 3s causes "endocannabinoid" deficiency.
I really enjoy your help on OWN, and now here. I have a poor immune system, Neuropathy, and prone to foot ulcers. No, I'm not Diabetic, but a few times a year, almost pre-diabetic. I've done the rounds with about evey medical specialist, including a week at NIH, and visits to Johns Hopkins. NO diagnosis. every test normail for my age. I'm 30 pds overweight, but everytime I make progress, I get new foot ulcer, and have to stay off of my foot. I'm ready to take matters into my own hands. HELP!
@Mcfannie hi there. May i give you some advice. You must wear shoes at all times! they must be broad in the toe and deep ( like a toe box). See a podiatrist for your foot care. Buy some medical honey and use it on any areas of erythema and of course seek medical care if you have any breaks in skin or ulcers. You must also wear slippers at home.
@Mcfannie - Investigate the Sun Ancon Chi Machine to vigorously increase circulation without having to put your feet on the ground, the Bellicon Bungee for only minimal pressure on your feet (or none, if you bounce on your butt), and HTE's far infrared dome (avoids the overheating of enclosed FIR saunas). These will dramatically increase lymph circulation, blood (and therefore oxygen) circulation throughout your feet, and have also helped people with blood sugar control. Also, MMS.
