Its not released. Tootie was the title of the tour and and 3 track release that was sold at the concerts and on line. This song didn't feature - its exclusive here!
No, it's for good. Perhaps to head into more experimental territory, in her music, performance, life...There is an explanatory article in The Globe and Mail, from a couple of weeks ago, maybe you can still find it on their site, or it might be linked on Issa's site...Thanks for watching! Eric.
We arrived late at the show in Bristol this spring, they keep you waiting by the door listening on a tiny speaker til the song ends....it never did -she just segued into the piece after piece like gentle waves rolling onto a lake shore...agonising. One of the shows of my life once we got in!!!
Hello - yes Jane toured the UK in March and played The Queens Hall in Edinburgh on March 29 where I was lucky enough to see her, a wonderful gig with lots of new stuff and chosen oldies. I went with someone who had never heard of Jane before but who still loved the concert, and still comments on the power of Janes voice.
I would really love to know if you hear of her playing here in britain again. I would love to have heard and seen her. Been a huge fan since hearing her song Calling all angels on the Pay it Forward movie. It has been realy nice to watch the vids here. Thank you. I will keep my eyes and ears open!
Scunnered I missed her as that would have made a great birthday pressie for me to see her in concert!
Very fond memories of Jane/Issa live in Edinburgh earlier this year. This is a very good memory trigger. Being a fan of Jane since 1993 the new music makes me think she has rediscovered her best, as this piece shows. Never simple, but thought provoking and wonderful.
Hey Thanks frickam! Yeah, that show was mostly new songs! It all makes more sense to me, both the show and the name change...I will have a full lenght version soon, I hope she wants to use it for something, or at least, if she doesn't want the bother, let me send it out there! Later, Éric.
This seems to follow on from New Year's Baby on the Child album in the way she tells the story.

Why can't I find this song in any one of her albums? Where can I get this? Is the title of the song really "Tootie Concerto"?

I don't know what she'd like to do with it, when I get it done, but, does your mother clean well and is she allergic to cats?

I was at the London and Dublin show. She was incredible. I hope she plans to release a DVD of the show. I'd sell my mother for it!

Great rane38. I am very curious as to why she changed her name. I was wondering if it was for some type of performance piece.
