@bowie44448 yes. contact Adam us 1 800 DO 1 JUMP (Canadian #) for our owner- we have the same companys skyvan right now so he'd know who owns it. The company is Skys The Limit (out of Chicago I think) and that particular plane is currently in Skydivecity Zephyrhills FL (the last I knew of anyways- in May 2011) hope that helps.
@skydive911 yes I agree with both statements. performance was definitely noticeable-as we were the 1st DZ to have this upgrade (it was & still might be- the only Caravan with this upgrade used for skydiving), we went through the 'trouble shooting' period. Having it sent back to Texas several times during our shorter season (it's here only May-Nov1st)-a loss of business was more then we expected (& thus never leased it again- sticking to the Skyvan & the Otter for this yr)
@Chuky13XD it went through a full body overhaul. So we had no problems of that sort (and leasing thae plane from USA & to pass through Canadian aviation standards in order to use it as a 'jump plane' for transporting skydivers there was strict criteria in order for it to be permitted for our use). As it was (at that tie- if not still) the 1st Caravan with this engine upgrade for skydiving purposes ( back in 2009 it was one of only a few upgrades all of the rest being corporate jets)
@pushitgently001p Thanks,Thank Caravan was the only such plane in the world-tossing skydivers. All others are the standard 595hp. Tis 1, with the 900 hp engine the other 6+ worldwide are all executive private jets. We were fortunate, the climb to 13,500f took only 11/12 min. not the 20 were used to.This yr. we had a skyvan. Despite its larger capacity we couldn't fill it more with our glass runway (3,500f) and it was not as fast to climb & had LOTS of issues starting, we had to hotload it often
It looks like somebody ripped off an engine from a Metro III and put it on that, lol

Wicked performance probably but i think the looks and the sound of the original PT6 turbine still fits this aircraft best :)

It holds up to 21 skydivers-depending on the gross weight. And our runway conditions :)

How many Divers can it hold?

She sure is beautiful. Makes my heart race just to hear those engines. Hope I get a chance to go up again sometime.
