Some group had the 80 anniversary of the opening of the terminal yesterday. It was good to see it again (been 30 years) but sad to see it in the state it was in.

I remember seeing the ramps and and stairs with doors on them in old pictures.

I thought the ramps and stairs had doors and knowing the Terminal then I bet they would keep all the birds out.

by the time the movie was shot the terminal was abandoned and in a poor physical shape so it is possible that the doors were open, missing or damaged and there certainly wasnt anyone to keep them out

I love this movie! Goldie Hawn is my all time favorite actress, and her daughter is my second all time favorite actress (I mean Kate Hudson). But I don't really care one way or another about Oliver Hudson. Don't ask me why?

Why is there birds in the passenger concourse?

the ramps and stairs were open air, so birds could easily get into the building

there were doors to seperate the open air from the terminal, the real reason why there are birds in the concourse is becuase the terminal was no longer in use when the movie was filmed and birds can easily get into an abandoned building
