The madrid team in this video was much stronger in my opinion, and the fact that he beat casilas WHILE he was actually diving from the ball, from that angle, just makes it a harder goal in my opinion. You have your opinion, I have mine. Henry used to defeat defenders with speed, it didnt look as good as messis close control, but the fact that he BEAT the defenders, is a big case, and what did he get for it? SHIT is what he got, messi gets much more praise.

@tonypoveda He hasnt scored a goal like that because he has goals better. Henry doesnt need to get 2ft on the goalie to score. He can shoot from anywhere and make it. I can give you at the minimum of 5 links of goals from henry that messi cant and wont do because he doesnt have the skill. He has the skills to get past the defenders and score but the not technical skill. And im pretty sure that if your FORWARD for argentina your job is to score they already have midfield. Thats why they lost.

When Henry was captain all the other players were either too old, Pires and Ljungberg, or young and inexperienced at the time, Fabregas et al. Henry was a great leader that gave 100% and led by example and every game you saw him try to motivate our team. Henry was a great captain.

A leader is someone who is born like that, the Adams, Veiras and today players like John Terry. A leader is someone who doesnt have to do anything, their presence alone motivates the team. Wenger gave Henry the armband to keep him at the club because at the time he was strongly linked to Barcelona. Eventually moving there.

Can you honestly stand there and say Cannavarro deserved it?? The two best players in the world that season were Henry and Ronaldinho. It was a personal duel between the two. Cannavarro got relegated with a cheating Juventus , knocked out of the QF of the champions league by Henry and co... All these awards are fun but they dont mean a lot, Cannavarro 06 is an example of why Fifa and ballon d'or cant be taken seriously. I heard about R9 being voted best player between 00-09, you have to take into account R9 has many fans, he is a great great player and his credetials expand into the 90's and i think this and world cup 2002 affected peoples opinions of him.

In my comparison there was no second rate league a la PSV or Cruzeiro to inflate R9 and no winger career for Henry to downgrade him, it is far more accurate than your proposed idea. Also R9 is the better striker, yes, but the debate about the better player...I choose Henry. Far more assists, a similar goal rate and more leagues, cups and golden boots

Christiano Ronaldo was a swinger/attacking midfielder in Manu but he has been soulier d'or. so Henry could also score when he was swinger at Monaco and Juventus. But you're right, Henry is definitely close to Ronaldo and even ahead of Raul, Nistelrooy, Del Piero, Inzaghi, Trezeguet. Please don't talk about Kezman here, lol. This guy sucks!!

@kamisma1 Henry at Monaco and Juve was not the same winger as Cristiano or messi, those 2 are higher up the pitch. C.Ronaldo only became prolific when he became more of a striker than a winger, prior to that (pre 2006) he was like Giggs and his goals reflected that. I believe that if someone is going to compare Henry and R9 then if they want to use their whole career fine, but they should make it clear that prior to 1999 Henry was a winger and between 94-96 Ronaldo played in a lower level.

If the specialists of soccer included Ronaldo in the 10 best strikers of all the time and Henry is not there, that says it all. And talking about Henry has more leagues than Ronaldo, don't forget that that's collective awards. If you want to talk about awards, Ronaldo has been best scorer of WC 2002 after an injury!!! Fifa of the player 3 times, ballon d'or 2 times... Now i'm convinced: Ronaldo is better!!

@kamisma1 I meant Fifa player of the year 3 times. He has been voted p;ayer of the last decade, Zidane was Second and Messi was third. So i don't even know why we are arguing about something that is obvious and that billions of people know about. If you think Henry is better, that's your right but when the vote has been done, Henry wasn't in the top 3 of the period you determinated: 2000-2010. If we add the years before 2000, it'll get worse. I'll give R9 18.5/20 and Henry 17/20.

@kamisma1 The only reason why hes so successful, because he was playing with EVERY big club that he has joined. SO no doubt he'll be winning lot's of silverware and gain more experience. As for Henry, he spent most of his career with Arsenal. And you know that Arsenal are not as big as Inter, Real, Barca and AC Milan. Even PSV have more silverware then Arsenal.

@Tarateesh oh so anybody can play for a big club?? what's your point? You got to have high level skills to be the striker of a big club. don't you think so? Every big club was willing to sign R9 cause he was just the best. Just like every club is ready to sign Messi, CR9 right now.
Henry could also go to other big clubs in other countries but he didn't cause he knew he wouldn't do as great as he was doing in Arsenal. If you really know soccer, just accept Ronaldo was better than Henry.

Second of all i didnt say Henry was better then Ronaldo, if you have a look at my recent comments, not one of them mentioned it. I just mentioned the reason why R9 was successful, that is all. And dont tell me big players go to big clubs because they are good. Henry was offered to join the big clubs, but he loved arsenal too much. Im just stating the statistics and comparisons between the 2.

@Tarateesh lol, where i come from, we call it FOOTBALL. I'm saying SOCCER cause i don't know where you come from. When we say SOCCER, there's no confusion possible. So R9 was successful cause he was playing for bigger clubs?? So tell me how come he was playing for those big clubs??? Simply because he was very talented. I did mention that Henry could have gone to bigger clubs and i said he didn't because he was afraid not to do as good as in Arsenal. I'm glad you agree that R9 is better.

@Titi14Zizou10 .you just can see can you. you write down ronaldos real madrid stats,did you mention the fact that ronaldo was a shadow of the player he used to be.did you mention the fact that he missed that much time out of the game and still managed to come back and be one of the best?.i would love to see henry scoring all those arsenal goals coming back after missing that many eyars out and getting his knee collapse on him twice.

How can you possibly compare Rooney to Henry, there was a big deal that Rooney scored 30+ goals in a season, correct me if I'm wrong but that's what strikers are supposed to do, its what they are paid to do.
Real strikers like Henry, Torres, Drogba, Eto'o, Klose do that year after year, season after season.
Rooney should be an attacking midfielder, he has a creative mind and one of the best passes in the premiership.
