  • awasom song u roxxxxxxxx rabi love u

  • What a song!!!!! Truly Amazing....

  • a brilliant suggestion n insight into our social infrastructure as well...like d entire part of this piece of Art...!!!

  • Ask People of Kashmir what they want? Simple Solution isn't it?

  • @feelthepush Yes it is a simple solution but the problem is all Kashmiris should get that right. Why should Paki Kashmiris be left out. Why should Kashmiri Hindus should be left out? All Kashmiri Hindus, around 8 - 9 lakhs were kicked out of Kashmir in 1990. First Kashmiris should unite themselves, then we'll ask of their opinion.

  • Love this song sooooooooooo much, the way he sung,Awesome.....But a little confusion is that i cant understand the video properly. But 1 of the bestest song :)

  • m from pakistan but i love sikh peopleeee i have sikh gf lol.... punjbais got the wrolddddd

  • brilliant video!

  • I love you Rabbi.............im from Pakistan.........now a days he is in Pakistan....for cock studio..............Sardars always are our brothers.............we are one divided in two punjab........my mother still missing Punjab of India........from where they migrate..........

  • @asrarasrar2010 **hug** from punjab :D

  • @asrarasrar2010 : ours is one family, divided by the cunning British before they left. It is up to us now to bring our separated family together in love, harmony and brotherhood. We are all one. Love to Pakistan and our Pakistani brothers and sisters.

  • @indodesi : so true , brother.

  • @asrarasrar2010: I remember as a kids all these old people at our village in Punjab (especially the old ladies) who would talk so foldly and would get teary eyed, just talking about their childhood friends who went to Pakistan. In their childhood, these people lost their best friends, their homes, their familiar fields and playmates, all because of the "partition". What a great tragedy!

  • this made me cry!!!

  • all jews are the bloodline of jew satan. All of jew satans kids should be removed from the planet

  • Thumbs up if you think the guy at 1:54 looks like Dhoni...!!!

  • THE TRUTHFULL SONG >>>>

  • awesome outastanding!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I guess a unified South Asian Nation is out of question when you Indians are always fighting amongst yourselves like this.

  • Rabbi Shergil did very thing. he look like gursikh but that fucker make this video scene without Pagri. very shamefull being a sikh without turbsn video scehne. shame on you rabbi shergil

  • @surjits11 look closely he is wearing black turban

  • rabbi shoud sing in coke studio ...coz hes da only singer who can create dat kinda jam

  • Second, separation has no end. Muslims separated from India. Later they fought and separated into Bangladesh themselves. And now there is more talk of separation. Become too small and you simply get swallowed by the bigger enemies, who force you to become Muslim or Chinese. Better to stay united and solve your problems in other ways. Every place has its problem. Separation from India is no solution. United we are strong.

  • First, the talk abut separation is nonsense. Kashmir is living example of it. Left to themselves after partition, they were a weak state that succumbed to Pakistani invasion and later actually asked India for help. We are surrounded by enemies. Pakistan, China, you name it. Any state that separates from India loses its protection and will simply be annexed by Pakistan or China. Obviously all those who talk of separation are agents of Pakistan and China wanting to merge with them

  • yaar ena sohna gaana yaa ,, ithe lok lad kion rahe ne ???? issues ta challi jaane .... lets love each other ,,, at the end of the day we all like the same song

  • hhahahaha ussne ek gana gaya or saare fir ladh pade =))) =)) reason chaiye ladne ke liye log to bade mil jaate hai =))) maaro maaro

  • @sameerpowerful Sahi bola tu dost!

  • what exactly the song is about?

  • @mrperfect88imtheone the problems within different indian states.

  • kisi ko yeh ladki ka naam pata hai? i think ive seen her in some movie before...

  • we are already suffering from previous punjab division.......... just a thought, can we clud punjab, haryana, himachal into 1 state please.......

  • @vishal476 "we clud punjab, haryana, himachal into 1 state please" NO! Look at large states in India like UP and Rajasthan. They are very poor. India should make states smaller like Punjab, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, etc and make Madhya, Raj, UP, etc smallers.

  • hmmmmmmmmm

  • ik kam karo ..sarre ek duje te bamb suut ke marjo...fir wekh leyo je kisse nu chain milde te....

milna fir v nahi..kionki asi sarre inssan jo han...

jinna marji lar layo..rabb te fir v nahi milna...

  • Lets Stand together Brothersssss.......

  • lol....I knew if I scrolled down the page, I'd see a whole group of clowns fighting about religion! :-D

  • awesome song, beautifull video 2 religions

    1-good people

    2-bad people

    which religion u belong

  • noobs need to stop talk about religion and enjoy the song

  • amanzing

  • i think people ar e mad who think they can live happy by seperating the india. khalistan is not the way to gain prosperity . but it is the way to ruin ur country.

  • awesome video....!!! my "oscar" song..!!!:)

  • ojmoss you said all that I have always wanted to .. thankyou

  • the best of rabbi, love this song

  • i dont get th

    is song...someone explain plz??

  • they are pondering over the current state of affairs in various parts of india ....especially the ones which are adversely affecting the people ....the video itself is fantastic its showing a separate story in itself about the life of a young girl and the problems that she faces .... somewhat a similarity between the peoblems of the young independent india ...the song is fabulos as it gives a scenario of hope ..

  • The gal is very beautiful..can any one tell her name?

  • who's the gal shes beautiful

  • song full of soul..

  • God goose pimples hearng this! Amazing.

  • he is a true lengend.... his songs reveals how much he loves india...he is real visionary...

  • and to i agree dont use abusive language ! against any religion, sikhi dont promote this at all, if u use it u r not sikh.

  • @MrGurpreetsingh1 I second that wholheartedly

  • well i am a sikh i dont want khalistan , my identity is india and i m proud to an indian , i hate those who r in favour of khalistan, india is my country.

  • well may be my sense is going in a direction where it shud go, and i m an indian and i will die for my country not for some stupid khalistan, ppl who talked about and talking now about khalistan are coward. MAHARAJ tuhadi SOCHAN SAMJAN D SHAKTI NU DUBARA ZINDA KARE TAKI TUSI KISSE GALAT GAL WA NA JAO. sat sri akal.

  • @MrGurpreetsingh1 veere well said...bakiyan baut galan sochan waliyan other than these sinister petty low things

  • @MrGurpreetsingh1 Well said bro....We need to stand united for INDIA.

  • @MrGurpreetsingh1 agree moreover what people did on the name of sikhism our gurus will never ever allow that.. that was terrorism

  • masterpiece...

  • @Johnypreet - Attaboy! That's the spirit, the rest of India greatly respects Sikhs.

@kantasingh - and I expected that you would be mature enough to not swear or use abusive language to prove your point instead of facts and logic. I admire your passion, but some education about religious history, or at least your own religion will help you, not this madness. Cheers!

  • FucK Khalistan and Fuck ppl who want Khalistan...Khalistan is the thought of uneducated dumbfucks... Sikhs have done so much for India and will continue to do so...We Love India...I am proud Indian and a proud Sikh...PeAcE!!!

  • why is it underrated 5/5

  • @333186 - Great apologies, but I must correct you. The Sikhs are not a race by themselves. Sikhism became an organised religion by itself only from a little before independence. Until then, a person in the family, usually one of the sons was nominated to be a Sikh, this was essentially to protect the then primary religion in India, Hinduism. Any knowledgeable Sikh who knows his history knows this basic fact. Besides, with a separate religion, are you moving towards unity or away from it? Think!

  • Ja, can't argue with history. But IMHO I don't think organised religion, especially not Sikhi, moves us away from unity. Sikhs don't see ourselves as better placed to reach "enlightenment" than followers of other religions, we don't stop them from attending our ceremonies, etc. We just have our own interpretation of the universe that we are proud of but don't force on others, but neither do we exclude them from it.

It's also important to separate politics and religion, and culture and religion.

  • wat unity......u want us to start worshipin diks and drinking cow piss again.......u high on cow piss or sumthin fool?? u fukin hindus talk bout unity when u motherfukers make fun of us.....it is understandable y indians needed a separate order for protecting the hindus.....hindus are pussies..!!

  • 1. the Sikh faith is a wholly original and revealed religion.

    2. Sikhs rising up against oppression was NOT to protect hinduism but to uphold the principle of freedom of religion. the protection of hinduism was INCIDENTAL and not the principle of the matter. if it had been hindus oppressing muslims then sikhs would have fought on behalf of the muslims.

    3. Sikhism was founded approx in 1499 and officially became "organized" in 1699. From 1760 to 1840 Sikhs ruled the Punjab.

  • 4. Your statements are exactly why people get annoyed. A distortion here, a subtle misrepresentation there...clearly the 'hinduification' efforts in the school system are paying off. What is the obsession of hindus of claiming everything as their own? the sikh faith is distinct. it's really not that big of a deal. the constant petty attempts to undermine this basic fact are what make it a big deal and lend credence to conspiracy theories about fundamentalist hindus.

  • 5. Your last statement reveals a Stalin like creepiness. India is made up of many, many ethnicities most of whom have very little in common. That doesn't mean that the idea of India can't work; it can, but going about in a sinister, slimy underhanded attempt to nationalize everyone doesn't work . It didn't work for the Soviets and it won't work for India.

    6. I think it is safe to say that no people hate each other more than indians. Literally, everyone hates everyone. it is just disgusting.

  • 7. For the record, I'm neither for nor against Khalistan. If presented on a silver platter the Sikhs would be fools not to take it. In the current climate, however, it is not worth the blood that would surely be shed. SIkhs have plenty of internal issues to deal with anyway.

The ultimate point is this: India is very very diverse. For her long term health and propserity this diversity needs to be celebrated and not whitewashed away.

    8. FInally, we can all agree that this is a great song.

  • these comments are directed to ustarcom's post above.

  • @ojmoss : m a punjabi and I belong to a family where the eldest son was made a sikh. So why wud a Hindu family make his eldest boy a sardar?? Just becoz the religion was never distinct. Sachche Badshah Guru Gobind Singh ji never said he that he created a different religion but a group of khalas (true in actions) to save the ordinary Indian from autocracies of aurangzeb. I may be a Hindu or a Sikh, but Guru Gobind Singh Ji or Guru Nanak or Guru Teg bahadur is as much of my lord s it is urs...

  • @konarkuppal90 : so true brother. we all are one. no exceptions.

  • @ojmoss : stop differentiating the ones made inseparable by God himself.

And those expecting punjab as khalistan.. I would like to ask.. Is Nanded in Maharashtra a less sacred place than the harmandir Sahib in Amritsar, punjab..

Surely no. Nanded is a sacred place at par with Nankana Saheb in pakistan or Harmandir Sahib or Patna Sahib in India.

Then if Sikhi is Pan-India, How can the sikhism confine to mere Punjab. It belongs to all of India and all Indians Hindus, Sehejdharis or sikhs all

  • ojmoss i think i might love you ..everything other than the for or against khalistan bit...no matter how different everyones poorer being deprived of other cultures...

  • @ojmoss If you are correct, then how come the eldest son of a Hindu family was ordained as a Sikh, while the rest remained Hindus?? I think your information is incorrect and you need to do some more research before coming to any conclusion.

  • This could is really beautiful. Could some one post the meaning of the lyrics, an english translation?

  • The lyricist is a genius. Period.

  • who is the actress?

  • This Song is just awsome...

Each and every line is so full of deep meaning and is reality infact....

    Greatttt song...

  • he is such a nice singer... and an intelligent person as well.

  • k J SiNGH is killer audio Engineer too ;.

  • rabbi 'z got real talent man....hez an exellent guitarist n pretty unconventional in his solos...his poetic abilities r also crazy .....bt like all other non bollywood artists so underrated

  • veer meraya jugni khendhi aaa ajj naa gura da lendi aaa

  • I feel ashamed to be Indian when I think of the atrocities of Kashmir..

  • dont be ashamed to be from India, kashmir is a 2 ways st

  • qwerty ! don't be ashamed. India has few bad apples. Educate others and make a change. India is very diverse...and I think most Indians are open minded.

  • jugni ja bari kashmir jithe roz maran das vi

    sonhinya peno te soniyon vir

    ro ro puchn

    ai chagra tadu makna............

listen indians...........u are killing kashmiri people for 50 years now..........

just learn something from this song

  • Kashmiri's deserve independence. Sikhs deserve Khalistan. Sikhs have lost so much khoon over the centuries.

  • If Sikhs get Khalistan, then they fight for Jattstan and Lubanastan and Ramdasiastan...Sikhs, Hindus, and Muslims need to live with each other with peace my friend. Separating ourselves from India will not help in prosperity of Khalistan. Diversity is the key to success. We need to move on, thinking about past is not productive. btw i am jatt sikh

  • Agreed with DesiHumanist!!!

    Shouldn't think about more division!!

  • Nobody wants to do radical things widout a good reason.......y is it that the indian govt. pressurises sri lanka to safegaurd hindu tamils in sri lanka but doesn't even talk about the sikhs being persecuted in afghanistan and pakistan.....y is it that babri masjid gets demolished and all the govt. does is give fake apologies.....y hasn't it been rebuild....the fact remains tht as long as india remains a 'hindu country', none of the minorities wud rest in peace

  • Let us the Sikhs decide that for ourselves. We have our faith and our Guru who unites us what do we have from India that that we can hold on to a constitution that refuses to even recognise us as a race and we're suppose to unite under that ?

In 2005 the constitution was reviewed and it was deemed not necessary to change this ruling the Sikhs are still labelled as Hindus according to the Indian constitution.

  • havent u heard indu, muslim, SIKH, isayi newhr......they mention sikh n hindu seperately

  • I have many Sikh friends and they all are mature, I mean they love their religion- we all do

But such seemingly unproductive running around?

Won't we be better off concentrating on our careers etc...

  • EVERYBODY LEARN FROM DIS DUDE HERE

  • thanks Sir...

what you have just said touched my heart

I mean, if we imagine something like Khalistan becomes a reality, then what's the guarantee that this fighting and restless will stop.......

really, the future lies in future only..........Jai Hind

  • so true

  • and I am a Muslim .. couldn't agree with you anymore. I am just too stupid to understand why from the day we're born it's bred into us that hindus, muslims and sikhs are enemies. What about 150-200 years ago? We were all one once and now we hate each other .. for what? everyone will say religion then I say the hell with my religion and the hell with all religions if that is the main thing religion has taught us but guess what .. religion doesn't teach that .. it's us that needs fixing

  • @saadk3000: well said, sab politics ka kiya karaya hai!

  • @saadk3000 i am an american married to a muslim and i am also a sannyasin of Osho from India..and have been a sannyasin since 1984..my opinion is that part of the trouble and problem..is that India has changed so much and lost so many values pertaining to spirituality and religion..they have fallen to a lot of sin and this is not favored or appreciated by Muslims at all...that may seem too simple an explanation..but from my observance that has a lot to do with it...

  • @saadk3000 the other problem i see.. is that Politicians USE Religion to Divide us..it is not just a problem for pakistan..it happens all over the world..and then these politicians take all kinds of actions which the countries people do not wish them to take..and over the years there is more and more hate...this is why i dropped out of religion and became an Osho sannyasin..Enough is Enough!!

  • @saadk3000 : well said brother!!

  • @saadk3000 : brother, if you are in Pakistan, then I wish that there be millions like you there. It is exactly people like you who will bring peace. We are all One, period. No exceptions! Not to make my comment too religious, but I will say Guru Nanak said, "Sab jeevan ka ik data" (All living Beings have but One creator) To hell with anyone who speaks of hate and violence. Peace and love to all Mankind, that is my religion.

  • all religions teach you to love humanity as a whole but we would rather just love our kind and think little of the rest whatever that freaking means ... yeah i get emotional sorry .. and not cause I hate people because I'm told to .. but because I hate people who hate others because they're told to .. wouldn't it be nice if we could actually see peace in our life time if not in the whole world then atleast where we live

  • @DesiHumanist i am not a separatist but i dont like the fact that diversity is polluting the human standards ,,, people dont like each other , people hate each other , every now and then i see people fighting over futile issues and abusing to the extent that one feels its better to be separated then living here ,,,i dont like arguing but minorities not just sikhs but in every part of the world are suppressed by few people in majorities after who runs the large population of those majorities.

  • @desi0172 Our PM is a Sikh. Our ex-Prez is Muslim. Our ex-defence minister was Christian, the chief of ruling party is an Italian Catholic, Our Prez is Hindu, The most respected business family in India and one of the most respected scientists in India are the Tatas and Homi Bhabha respectively. They are Zoroastrians. Kuchh aur bacha hai? Yaara tu maan na maan, this happens only in India. Jai Hind! Idhar minorities ko koi nahin pareshan karta sivay kuchh log jinhe jald rozgaar dhoondna chahiye

  • @DesiHumanist don`t have to bring caste into this "jatt sikh" but very well said

  • @DesiHumanist really ur d 1st intelligent person i have come across

  • @DesiHumanist You say thinking about past is not productive. I ask you, can you remove gandhi from indian currency then? can you remove nehru and gandhi portraits from parliament and police stations. If not, then why are you 'selective' in your approach in forgetting the history of sikhs? Remember, if you claim remembering past is not productive then you have to 'consider' and be forgetful about Mahabharta, Ramayana, etc because after all diversity is the key to success.

  • @DesiHumanist i agree we are suffering from a mistake comitted by the muslim league....we should never look for minute differences when we r made so much similar

  • its not about division how people wanna manage their affairs should be left to them who cares bout size of the country if they would give more autonomy to states than it will serve everyone better rather than have powerful centralized state.

Europe and America are good examples they have small semi autonomous state nd they do really well. Its not great idea to violently suppress people's just demands.

  • why do u want to keep dividing the nation?

  • great song...truth...absolute truth

  • Good singer

  • pretty harsh but thats the fact>>>>

  • rabbi zindabad.........

  • Rabbi rocks

  • nice song....and in Kashmir verse he referred to pakistan...they have made matter worst there...

Rabbi rocks...........!! sarcastically showing the problems faced by india today..but we will overcome them all

  • i dont think he "sarcastically" showed them.. he just showed them like they r lol ... maybe u shud look up the meaning of the word sarcastic :P

  • haha....actually i cudn't find the word that time :P

  • lol it happens

  • the song is amazing...but the video sucks. There is no link between the lyrics and the video

  • yes there is LOL and its really not that hard to find... i donno if ur listening to the background voices or not but she's depressed and her husband mite have died but she doesn't know so she's going crazy trying to find out and all (the guy in the freezer was probably the dead husband she was imagining).. and on top of that she's pregnant and they're showing what bad state the country is in and she's concerned about bringing her child into that type of environment

  • she IS pregnant - 2 throw-ups - and the background lyrics just before the scrabble, say 50 rupees for 1 points to going to America. Rabbi at that time is telling of young men who marry white women and forget about the family they left behind. So her husband probably abandoned her. Amazing deapth in this song......

  • this song is so catchy

  • yes this song is very old, its sung by Alam Lohar Pakistani singer way back, but i love this songs lyrics which Rabbi has changed, very very nice....Great song

  • Well it has been around longer than any one of us even know.

    He just made it popular.

Its not his song or something

  • he has just used "jugni" that is not his creation but all song has mentined todays life then how it can be written in old times

  • Well yes I said the same thing that this song is rabbi's song and not by some alam lohar as the jugni thing has been a part of folk punjab and a lot of poets in different eras have written it according to the same age. So this jugni is written by rabbi shergill describing the situation in India todaay. why did u reply me then i am saying the same thign as u :(

  • this song is very old. my mom said she heard this song when she was in college.

  • the lyrics is new

  • akshee shadow is rite........audio is also good.meaning of dis song shows everyone d real truth of india and indians

  • oh he sure knows how to give life to a song

  • dis is not the very REAL jugni but wateva IT IS SOOOOO GOOD THE VERRY THRUTH ABOUT INDIA AND PAKISTAN ppl are just doin crap jobs even though most of them are masters:(it really makes youh sad this is totally true

i went to pakistan at a wedding&our driver was masters and he was doin dis job beacause he didnt get a place any where else

now dis is onli 1person fink about how many more there would be :(

i hope both countries get better because they have potenial&all thoes bad polition die !

  • wat has pakistan got to do with this song

  • Comment removed

  • Well this msg is for xz8bjk who replied to my comment saying some paki singer wrote it and performed it first.

So I just wanna let him know. I searched about jugni folk songs or lok geet and the origin of them date back to pre partition era and it has to do with punjab & nothing else.pakistani singer made it famous but lyrics for each jugni are different and are written generally for that era.Rabbi has written keeping indian social structure in mind. So dis version has nothing to do with pak

  • rabbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbiiiiiiiii u rock.awesome song.

  • LOL! WHYYYY is there a guy in her fridge at 3:33 !???

The song sounds awesome! Unfortunately i can't understand a word :( but from the comments I have read i saw its about modern social issues in India.. Rigth?
