  • Ill half to grow my hair for another couple of years for my hair to be that long-.- damn

  • @5thAvenueEA Hang in there! You'll be having long hair before you know it. :)

  • how long did it take you to grow it?

  • @puppyprincess12345 My hair grows the same as most other people's; about 6 inches a year, so about 7 years total for all the hair length. The secret is to just not cut it, no matter what. You can cut a little off for split ends, but the key is to prevent them by brushing your hair before showering, don't overbrush, don't wash more than 1-2 times a week, etc. :)

  • @naturekeene7 yep, you're right, but there is a lot of people that aren't able to think, I mean, that's obvious, but 90% of the girls who want long hair think "cutting makes it grow" since it has no logic, cutting it won't make it grow, let it grow and it will obviously do haha =)

  • Too long hair is ugly.

  • Holy crap

  • It's still long it's far from short hair

  • @TheBrianita2008 My husband didn't want it short, and neither do I. :)

  • Well, I LOOOOOOOVE super long hair on women, but at least you didn't chop it short.

  • @rac717 It's down to my fanny again, ha! :)

  • @naturekeene7 Great news indeed. I hope that this time you don't trust Locks of Love, which warehouses, sells or trashes 99% of the hair they receive. I hope that you and your husband continue to enjoy your sensuous locks! LOL

  • @rac717 they actually make wigs 4 the children my sister has a wig from them that was free of charge that she got when she was little and when she got older and it didn't fit they made her another for her senior prom and i used to have cancer and they provided me with a wig

  • @4EverDancer8 I can understand why you'd feel grateful to them. The fact remains that they use maybe 1% of the hair donations that they receive, according to their own figures from 2002. That's a bad deal for those who love their hair, IMO. Of course, I'm elated to hear about your cancer recovery! God bless!

  • this thing is so wierd duhh :)

  • Whats with the random person on the floor? :L

  • @beedokid That is my son, he pretended to faint after he saw me with shorter hair! :) The man narrating is my husband. :)

  • @naturekeene7 Oh haha thats pretty clever idea (:

  • How do you deal with washing hair that long!? My hair is only down to my shoulderblades in the back and styling it is already a pain!

  • the girl who cut the hair had amazing hair!

  • @SkyeRiosOnline She had extentions, and she seems to have different colored/length hair everytime I see her on Facebook, ha!

  • You let a orange-haired freak cut off your beautiful long hair. What were you thinking???

  • @athompson7 ha ha, Lea Pea (the orange haired freak) is pretty cool actually. :) And I couldn't stand it being so long anymore.

  • Do not so positive on Locks of Love

Your is been rather sold !!!

  • @valtuber It gets sold if it is not usable for their wigs. If the hair is too grey, colored, too short, etc, they will sell it to help defray the cost of the $1000 wigs! I don't mind.

  • All you needed is just 2 inches of trimming. Sorry for such beautiful hair loss...

  • @valtuber I couldn't stand it being so long anymore, it was starting to interfere with my cleanliness!

  • @Iftikhar1312 in order to grow long hair you have to get it trimmed. if you hair is unhealthy, its worthless.

  • @Iftikhar1312 Just don't cut it, simple as that. No trimming, and scroll down below for more tips.

  • okkk????

  • @bradaughterofvegeta what........

  • lol donating hair thats the wiredest thing ive ever heard

  • @TheCardGuy521 It's for those who have a condition such as alopecia, which causes people, mostly children to lose their hair, and doesn't grow back. It is not for cancer patients, as a lot of people think.

  • Eh...LoL... =/

  • I had 10 inches cut of and gave it to locks of love

  • My hair is as long as yous (was?)

    But curly XD

  • it looks MUCH healthier now, beautiful hair :)

  • @elenitsagiannos Thank you! :) Time to get it cut again, ha!

  • U should of cutted it shorter,

  • @Beatlesfan815 My husband wanted it long, and I did too. I look goofy with short hair.

  • very nice

  • Wow!

  • Wow i thought u were like....a teenager

  • gee, thanks for the compliment! :)

  • very kind of you to say! :) I'm 35.

  • First you have to brush it before getting it wet, or it will be very damaging to comb/brush it afterward. I just apply shampoo, rinse, apply conditioner, rinse, and then rinse with cold water after I am done with my shower to smooth the cuticles of the hair. Air dry, never blow dry.

  • OMG! how do u WASH it?

  • @JstTera99 It was getting hard to take care of, I usually just kept it in a braid, and I wash it only about 1 time a week. I always brush it before getting in the shower, and lather it up with shampoo, then rinse, then I use conditioner, keeping it in for a few minutes, then I rinse it with cold water. I let it air dry. :)

  • @naturekeene7 Well it looks beautiful either way!

  • @naturekeene7 thats REALLY bad for your hair though....not wasing it at LEAST every other day...

  • @SupaSinga101 it looks good though, it doesn't break much, it's shiny, and I've done it this way all my life. If I wash it more than that, it dries out and breaks a lot.

  • @naturekeene7 ohhhh i see haha i guess thats your hair:/ my hairs different...i shoulda kept that in mind lol sorry.

  • OMG LOOONG HAIR!!! My friend has hair that long... or almost!

  • I wanted to still have long hair, that is why. My husband likes it that way, and so do I.

  • Why did you not have your hair cut off in a ponytail from the middle of your neck?

  • @Cancerian48 I wanted to have it still long, my husband does as well.

  • good for you

    i donated 3 times

all that hair will really halp someone

  • I sure was! Peaceful, really! :) Just a few months back I would tear up thinking about cutting it, but now, no problem!

    Thank you, by the way!

  • Thanks! That's my son performing the dramatics!

  • A year ago you cut 20 inches of that beautiful hair ... I guess it has grew more while this year ... maybe are you going to cut it again soon ? I would like to cut such hair and especially to buy such locks of hair. Tell me if you would sell it the next time please

  • Actually I just cut it on the 17th of March of this year, 2008. It was about 43 inches, or down to my knees in back, and that is when I finally cut it. I am donating it to Locks of Love this time. Maybe next time I will sell it, who knows! How long do you like it to be?

  • woooow that is realy long hair and nice hair

what make's you what to cut it ?

  • Four years ago, I made a deal with myself to not cut it until I got down below 200 pounds; I was 266 at the time, down from 294 pounds. I wanted a goal to get me there. Now I'm around 197 or so! :) Plus I was REALLY getting tired of sitting on it, as well as others!

  • goood cuz it's still long grow it agine ;]

  • Hooray for you! The boy on the floor seems to disagree. LOL. I know the men in my life prefer my hair long, but I am about to donate some locks myself.

  • Congratulations on dropping those pounds. Your family must be as proud of your achievement as you are :-)

Whether you sell it, donate to a charity, congratulations on being able to grow such lengthy hair. Personally, I think it looks amazing when people who can grow it uber-long, actually do, but it's your business and your family's :o))

At least you were smiling in this video :-)) and seemed ready for the big chop :)
